00:00More than 500 OFWs have returned to the Philippines since the earthquake in the Middle East.
00:08According to Department of Migrant Workers Secretary Hans Leopakdak,
00:13488 overseas Filipino workers have returned to the country along with their dependents.
00:20According to the latest data from the DMW, 264 will return via commercial flight while in Humigit, Kumulang.
00:29250 are waiting for clearance for Lebanese immigration.
00:35Kakdak called on Filipinos who wish to return home to contact their agency
00:42through their 1348 hotline and official Facebook pages of the DMW, Migrant Workers Office and their embassy.
00:52Meanwhile, in accordance with President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr.'s order,
00:57OFWs who have returned will receive financial assistance worth Php 150,000 from the DMW and OA,
01:09Php 20,000 from the DSWD, free medical assistance from the Ministry of Health and other services
01:17that will help in the search for life under the whole-of-government approach.
01:23The situation in Lebanon remained on alert level 3
01:27where the country is still implementing voluntary repatriation.
