Shah Rukh Khan's 1989 television series 'Fauji' is set for a modern revival. Filmmaker Sandeep Singh, in partnership with Doordarshan, is bringing 'Fauji 2' to audiences. The updated series will feature Gauahar Khan and Vicky Jain in the lead roles. Vikas Jain, Ankita Lokhande's husband, will make his mainstream television debut as Colonel Sanjay Singh in 'Fauji 2', whereas Gauahar Khan will portray Lieutenant Colonel Simarjeet Kaur in the show.
