00:00PTV Balita Ngayon is back. President Ferdinand R. Marquez Jr. encouraged the lawmakers to push forward the simplest fiscal regime in the country's mining industry.
00:17Through the support of the Congress on the Rationalization of the Mining Fiscal Regime, the government will collect taxes from mining companies depending on their earnings from 1.5% to 5% royalty.
00:35The D.N.R. was also ordered by the Executive Board to enforce their regulations when it comes to the mining industry to ensure the compliance of companies with safety and environmental standards.
00:49The beneficiaries of the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program of 4Ps were encouraged by the Department of Social Welfare and Development to register with the Philseas of Philippine Identification System.
01:01According to 4Ps National Program Manager and Director Gemma Gabuya, registering with the Philseas will allow them to get their conditional cash transfer based on the accomplished program requirements of the beneficiaries.
01:20The D.S.W.D. has already helped the Philseas to roll out the Philseas Registration to the beneficiaries in different parts of the country.

01:43This afternoon, a man was arrested for drug bypass operation on the persons of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Regional Office 11, Davao Oriental Police Provincial Office and Mati City Police Station.
01:57He was arrested on October 12 in Rabat, Roca Mora, Central Barangay, Mati City, Davao Oriental.
02:04He was also arrested by Arcel Ebreda Daganio, 33 years old and a resident of Lower Salazar, Central Barangay, Mati City.
02:14He was charged with five counts of drug paraphernalia and bypass marked money.
