NEWTON Abbot’s indoor market has a new home.
To rapturous applause did town mayor, Cllr Alex Hall, cut the ceremonial ribbon to the traders’ new home in the former Post Office building in Market Square on Wednesday, October 16.
Shoppers soon made their way inside, looking to make full use of the day-only special offer of ten percent off to mark the occasion.
The temporary relocation is to allow Teignbridge District Council’s (TDC) five million pound regeneration project of the existing market hall to get underway.
