Cynthia Erivo is calling out a fan-made movie poster for her upcoming film 'Wicked,' saying that it's "deeply hurtful." A TikTok user made a video altering the 'Wicked' movie poster to make it more closely resemble the poster for the Broadway musical, where Elphaba's eyes are obscured by a wide-brimmed hat. Erivo took to her Instagram story to address the photoshopped version of the official poster, which hides Erivo's eyes and much of her face.
