00:06Zach Kortz here with RevZilla, and welcome to another episode of Daily Rider.
00:10Our guest today is exciting, if for no other reason than it might do pretty well on the
00:14leaderboard at the end of this episode.
00:17That is Yamaha's updated for 2021 MT-07, so that is a midsize parallel twin with some
00:23pretty good punch, some new technology, a new dash, new ergonomics, all for an MSRP
00:29of $7,700 United States dollars.
00:32I think this is going to be a fun one, everybody, so let's get to it.
00:35All right.
00:43Okie dokie, everybody.
00:45We've got nice temperate weather here, sunny day, we got a full tank of gas, we got a full
00:53GoPro battery, so let's get to it on this 2021 MT-07.
00:59We'll start with the engine.
01:00This is a 689cc parallel twin with a 270 crank.
01:04For this year, it has some updates to the air intake, to the valve seats, some stuff
01:09in the transmission to reduce driveline lash, they claim, Yamaha claims, but we'll talk
01:15about that a little bit later.
01:17Maybe most significant is the exhaust, so this is the catalytic converter that they
01:21moved up in the exhaust closer to the headers where it's hotter, which is said to be good.
01:26Front brake rotors have gone up, 298s now, same as the MT-09, so that's a sort of improvement.
01:33Larger brake rotors are good, of course, and yeah, all LED lighting, new styling, as everybody
01:40is very eager to comment about on social media.
01:44We'll talk about the styling and stuff a little bit more later, but basically, same package
01:49as before, just with some tweaks, some slight improvements, and yeah, new dash.
01:55So I guess we look at the new dash right now, why not?
01:57And actually, while we do that, this is interesting, the key is in front of the dash, so instead
02:03of having the key here in the dash, they put the dash real low and close to the gas cap
02:08and they put the key in front, which is streamlined, but a little odd, and of course, you'll notice
02:16when I'm riding, the dash is pretty far down in my field of vision.
02:21Anyway, let's fire it up.
02:24There it is.
02:25Chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga-chugga.
02:28A very eager and fun engine, so let's do it.
02:33Let's get this daily rider on the daily ride.
02:39So, as usual, we'll do specs right off the bat before they fall out of my head.
02:45We have a 406 pound wet weight, that is what a full 3.7 gallons of gas in the tank, and
02:55interestingly, that is exactly what we're going to be using.

03:14So, respect to the Tuning Fork brand for hitting the wet weight, the claimed weight, right
03:21on the head.
03:22I always appreciate it when brands are honest about how much the bikes weigh.
03:2631.7 inch seat height, and you can see I've got a pretty good bend in my leg.
03:31I'm 6'2", and it is extremely approachable.
03:35Swing the leg over.
03:3731.7 inch seat height isn't crazy low, but the bike feels small, and it's fairly narrow
03:43in the middle, which is nice.
03:45It's got horsepower in the mid-70s.
03:47Yamaha doesn't have any actual claimed brake horsepower figures, but 70, 75, it's approximately
03:54the same as it was in the previous generation, and I believe the torque figure is around
04:0050 foot-pounds, which is pretty good for an engine this size.
04:05Very, very...
04:06Oh, jeez.
04:07Oh, yellow light.
04:08Anyway, spunky engine, plenty of get-up-and-go, as we will discover, and yeah, fairly light
04:15package overall, just more than 400 pounds.
04:18So, all right, green light.
04:20Now we can let this sucker rip.
04:22I don't want to let it rip too much in case a fella pulls in front of us.
04:28And now on to ergonomics.
04:30I did promise you there are some ergonomic adjustments for 2021, and it's mostly to do
04:35with the handlebar, which is about an inch and a quarter wider and about a half inch
04:41taller than it was.
04:42It also got a little bit closer to the cockpit as well, which I never really felt like it
04:47needed the previous MT-07, but I got to say, riding this one, I feel like the ergos are
04:53unquestionably reasonable.
04:57The only complaint I have at more than six feet tall is the legroom is a little tight,
05:02but that's not something I feel particularly compelled to complain about.
05:07First of all, it's not uncomfortable even riding it all day, and second of all, you
05:12know, it's a small bike, so it's going to be kind of small, and that's okay.
05:21Otherwise, and in general, the ergos are quite good.
05:26It's very just upright, sort of a classic, you know, sporty commuter naked setup.
05:34Very relaxed, no weight on your hands, unlike that guy on the sport bike whose wrists probably
05:42hurt right now.
05:44Yeah, it's just very, very reasonable, but it's still got a bit of sport to it.
05:50You know, you lean forward toward the handlebar just a little bit, and the pegs are high enough
05:54that they don't drag when you rip through some actual, you know, canyon roads or mountain
05:59roads or whatever your pleasure is, and that's probably why the legroom isn't great for some
06:06of my size, because the pegs are up high enough to be sporty, but the seat is low enough that
06:10it is approachable for riders of many statures, and that's just fine in my book.
06:19All right, we can do a little roll-on test.
06:2155 miles an hour in sixth gear.
06:23Punch it.
06:25Look at that.
06:26Going 70 in no time.
06:28Really good, really good punch.
06:30Like I said, this engine's very eager.
06:32Just, yeah, has really great energy about it, and that 270 crank means it's got kind of a bassy
06:38sound, as opposed to a 180 crank like the Battletoad or, yeah, any other Kawasaki Versys or
06:45Yamaha MT-03.
06:47Maybe more to the point, the comfort on the freeway is pretty good, I think.
06:52No wind protection, obviously.
06:54I find 65-70, this, if you're going 65, is really just easy to take, easy to live with.
07:00It's perfectly comfortable.
07:01If you want to go 80 or even 75, I think it starts to get a little more stressful on your body
07:08just holding on into the wind.
07:10You can slide back and forth on the seat pretty well.
07:12If you slide back, you raise yourself up a little bit, which is not necessarily great for staying
07:17out of the wind, but you're in the wind no matter how you slice it on this bike, so I appreciate
07:21that the seat is flat enough that you can move around, and aside from the legroom, this is a very
07:27comfortable machine, even for someone who's pretty tall.
07:31Whew!
07:32Man, that headwind is serious!
07:35Even at 65 miles an hour, getting knocked around a little bit here.
07:39But speaking of 65 miles an hour, if this is the average speed that you're going to hold on the
07:44open road such as this, I think you'll find your gas mileage will be pretty darn good.
07:48Yamaha claims 58 mpg, I think, and I did not get mileage that good ever, but I did get 50.
07:57One tank was 56.
07:59Another one was in the low 50s, I think, so it'll depend a lot on your average speed.
08:03But yeah, in general, it's a pretty efficient engine, especially if you're riding around the city
08:09or you're on sort of two-lane roads and you're not revving it particularly high.
08:13And a 3.7 gallon tank means, you know, theoretically, 200 mile range.
08:19I think you're more likely to fill up after 130 or 150 at best, is my guess there.
08:29But yeah, a decent range for what it is.
08:32No one's expecting this bike to be able to go 250 miles on a tank, so I think it delivers just fine.
08:38Last thing I'll say about freeway speeds as we slow down from freeway speeds is the gearing,
08:46which, if you know anything about me, you know that I love to suggest gearing bikes up
08:50because they're geared too short, and this one's a perfect example of that.
08:55I'm in 6th gear and we're going 45 miles an hour, pulling 3,000 rpm, 3,200 rpm, something like that.
09:03And the engine's great at this, I think.
09:06It just sort of chugs along. It's perfectly happy.
09:09And I wouldn't be sad if it was pulling, realistically, 4,000 rpm.
09:16Yeah, so 55 miles an hour, 4,000 rpm.
09:19If it was pulling that kind of rpm at 70, I think that would make sense to me.
09:24It's got good punch, decent enough roll-on power.
09:27You get better mileage.
09:29And as we will experiment with, 1st gear, for me, is almost too low, too short.
09:36But that's also a personal opinion thing, and this bike isn't necessarily geared for someone such as myself, I don't think.
09:47As we get to the place where we normally talk about mirrors, I remembered that was another one of the updates, the mirrors.
09:52The mirrors are taller and wider set.
09:57I think these are MT-09 mirrors, basically, if memory serves.
10:01They took the mirrors from the MT-09 and applied them here, as well as the handlebar getting a little bit wider.
10:08And these mirrors are quite good. I've got to say, I give them a grade A for the mirrors.
10:13I don't remember the previous generation mirrors being bad, but all I can say is that these ones are pretty good, and that is another update for 2021.
10:22Glad I remembered.
10:27Into the neighborhood, and Zach's stop sign challenge.
10:32I feel like the MT-07 could do pretty well here.
10:35It's nicely balanced.
10:37Ah, that wasn't super confidence-inspiring.
10:40But it does have nice balance. It's a short wheelbase.
10:43It's a light bike to begin with, and it feels light.
10:47It's light to the touch. It carries its weight pretty well.
10:52The top of the tank is fairly low.
10:55They kept the mass fairly central.
10:58So, yeah, it's a very agreeable bike at low speed, in my opinion.
11:03And I really don't have any excuse for not nailing this full stop right here.
11:09There we go.
11:11So doable. So doable.
11:13Yes.
11:15Very good.
11:17Very good indeed.
11:20Another thing I like about the MT-07 at low speed is the clutch.
11:24Cable-operated clutch. Nice direct feel.
11:26Very light lever pull.
11:28Predictable. Easy to use. Basic.
11:31Absolutely nothing wrong with it.
11:33The throttle response, on the other hand, not great.
11:37Yamaha's still struggling with this.
11:44I'm just getting by the skin of my teeth on these footless stops here.
11:49I don't know what it is exactly that Yamaha struggles with the fueling, but it's not...
11:54It's still just a little bit herky-jerky.
11:56And one of the reasons that I find it so frustrating is that other bikes...
12:05Like, I rode the Triumph Trident back-to-back with this bike, which I'll talk about a little bit more later.
12:12And that bike's fueling is just perfect.
12:16It's so good. It's so good.
12:18And I don't... Maybe it's just something they figured out.
12:24Yamaha can't figure out.
12:26But the on-off throttle on this bike is similar to most MT versions.
12:30It just is a little bit herky-jerky.
12:32But aside from that, it's an awfully agreeable bike around town.
12:37It looks like we might even have time to talk about the dash.
12:39I just stopped late.
12:41So here it is. The new dash.
12:43Instead of having buttons on the dash, you control it with this guy over here.
12:48So when you go toggle up, Trip 2, if you hold it down, you can reset it.
12:55Which I'm not going to do.
12:57Average fuel, coolant temp, air temp, odometer.
13:01That's basically it. Nothing super special.
13:04But fuel gauge nice and big. Clock nice and big. Gear position indicator nice and big.
13:08Tach, very easy to read. Speed right in the middle.
13:11It's simple in a way that is very pleasing to use.
13:15And it's nice and crisp. Not too much glare.
13:18My only complaint is that I wish I could see two of these parameters at the same time.
13:24So, you know, Trip 1 and average fuel economy or air temperature.
13:32I'd love to be able to see air temperature and what my trip meter is at the same time.
13:37But I can't do that.
13:39You know, if you start complaining about stuff like that, you know that functionally it's pretty good, I think.
13:44All right. Finally, green light.
13:54Just a little power wheelie in second gear of a $7,500 bike. No big deal.
14:03All right. This is the last stop sign that I count as part of the neighborhood one.
14:06I think if we get this one, yeah, nice clean one.
14:10That's the perfect score. Technically, as I said, a couple of those were pretty ugly in the neighborhood.
14:17But technically a perfect score for the MT-07. Not bad. Not bad at all, little guy.
14:25All right. Lovers Lane. Time to talk about passenger accommodations.
14:29And notes from Miss K-Dog, the stage of passenger accommodations here on Daily Rider.
14:37K-Dog's report is that the passenger accommodations are surprisingly good on the MT-07.
14:42Plenty of room back there. The cushion's not super comfortable, but there's also more legroom than she was expecting.
14:49Surprise thumbs up for the passenger accommodations, even if they're not, you know, full-on luxury comfortable
14:55as you would get on a sport tour or something like that.
14:58So hopefully that helps you. And tip of the cap to K-Dog, as always.
15:04We're dipping into our twisty road section here. We're behind a little bit of traffic,
15:09but enough room to lean on the tires just a little bit and remind you what it's like to actually ride the MT-07 on a twisty road.
15:19There have been a lot of questions on social media, rightly so, about the suspension of the MT-07.
15:25Did they fix it? Is it better? Is it is it excellent now?
15:29The short answer is no, they didn't really fix it. It's not way better.
15:33It's still soft and just like a little bit underdamped and kind of budget for lack of a better term.
15:43But one thing that I want to make very clear is that you don't need Ohlins MotoGP suspension to have fun on a twisty road.
15:52I rode this bike around through mountain roads, along the freeway, through twisty road.
15:58I dragged my toe sliders and, you know, whipped through corners and had fun.
16:02And there were certain situations where it is obviously not premium suspension, but it didn't really spoil the ride for me.
16:12I don't want people to think just because the suspension isn't great that it's the first thing you need to do.
16:17And are you going to spend $2,000 on your MT-07 suspension?
16:21Like if you want to go to your first track day or something like that, you don't.
16:25If you're a sort of beginner, intermediate rider, you're going to find that it's fine.
16:31And you should endeavor to make it better at some point.
16:35Or, you know, Yamaha should, first of all.
16:38But if you want a bike with premium suspension, then this isn't it.
16:41But it is a really fun motorcycle on a twisty road, even if the suspension action is arguably the worst part of the bike.
16:53Now, here we go. Third gear, 45 miles an hour.
16:58Look at it go. Popping woolies.
17:02It's just so much fun.
17:04I don't want to do huge woolies all the time, always, because it feels like that's flirting with disaster.
17:12But it's just such an agreeable, fun engine.
17:17It's so good. It's so energetic.
17:20You know what it is? It might be better than the MT-09 engine.
17:24I know. I know. I'm probably not the first person to say it, but it feels a little bit blasphemous still.
17:29But it's so good. It's just so punchy and interested in what you're doing.
17:35And the MT-09 triple is a terrific engine.
17:38It makes a sweet noise. It's got lots of power.
17:41It's got great energy as well.
17:43But just the fueling isn't quite as nice, I don't think.
17:47And it doesn't, I don't know.
17:49It's just, it's a little more raw in a way that I really appreciate.
17:54Ah, son of a yellow light.
17:56It's a little more raw in a way that I really appreciate about the MT-07.
17:59It just, it always, aside from the suspension action, it just always makes me feel like a better rider.
18:07It's just, it's so good.
18:11It's very good.
18:13I was cursing the red light, but that just means we get to accelerate again.
18:20Just pumping power wheelies away from stoplights.
18:24The MT-09 does that too, but you don't even need 100 horsepower to do that.
18:30Just one of these guys.
18:32So energetic.
18:35On the topic of the engine, I did get one question that I thought was particularly interesting.
18:39Where the fella asked, you know, this bike has such a reputation for being a hooligan bike,
18:45but is it still good to ride around town?
18:48Is it hard to ride politely, kind of?
18:51That's his basic question, I think.
18:53And no, that's one of the cool things about this bike that I think makes it so lovable.
18:58What the mother?
19:00Yellow lights.
19:02Anyway, one of the things that makes this bike so good is that it's very polite and easy to ride.
19:09It reminds me of a KTM Super Duke in so much as it's polite and gentle and friendly
19:17and just put around town if that's what you want to do.
19:19But if you want to have fun, then pop the clutch, twist the grip, and it'll sort of spark to life.
19:26It doesn't spark to life quite the way a KTM Super Duke does, I'll admit that.
19:31But it's still just really fun in a way that is difficult to describe except that it's great.
19:40And I appreciate that about it, that it can be polite or a little bit of a hooligan.
19:48And we got a red light, so we're going to talk about brakes.
19:50I just decided since we haven't done that at all.
19:53Didn't get the ABS to engage just then.
19:56The brakes are not as much better as I wanted them to be considering the bigger rotors.
20:02I thought that was going to help. They're still just a little spongy.
20:06There's plenty of power you can engage ABS.
20:09And one thing I do like about the braking performance of this bike is when you're...
20:14If you're delicate in your very aggressive braking, you can pick the back wheel up.
20:18It'll let you endo a little bit before the ABS kicks in.
20:20It's not ultra, ultra conservative, which I appreciate for an aspirational performance bike like this is.
20:28I do wish the brakes were a little sharper, but I find myself... I don't know.
20:32I have a little bit of trouble complaining about it considering it's very affordable.
20:41And for some reason this just popped into my head.
20:43I did have a question about the XSR700.
20:45And someone said, ah, should I get an XSR700 or should I get this?
20:48I've always appreciated the ergonomics on the MT-07 more than the XSR.
20:56The XSR has kind of a back swept bar that I didn't really like.
20:59It's been a minute since I rode one.
21:01But I would just go MT.
21:03I do appreciate the way the XSR looks.
21:05And I appreciate that some people just think it looks much, much better.
21:08And that's fair.
21:10So to that point, I did have a friend who bought an XSR700 and he just replaced the handlebar.
21:14Put on, I think, an MT-09 handlebar.
21:16And was very happy with it.
21:18So, that's something to think about.
21:20I would go MT, but keep in mind you can adjust the things that I don't like about it.
21:25Okie dokie!
21:27On to the dirt section with the MT-07!
21:34And sort of as you'd expect.
21:37Tires don't like it.
21:39But the suspension is fine.
21:41Nice kind of wide handlebar.
21:43Wider for 2021 as we learned.
21:47Yeah, and no TC.
21:50So you can get swayzy.
21:52That's a little more traction than I thought.
21:59So now we'll hit some jumps.
22:00Because that's what we do.
22:01We'll see how this suspension that everyone hates so much does over the jumps.
22:06I'm going 2nd gear.
22:07Over the first jump.
22:10Not too bad.
22:11I'm not going to do the big one though.
22:13But I'll save that for...
22:15Tenere 700s and the like.
22:17And if you want to trundle down a dirt road,
22:19I think you'll be just fine on the MT-07.
22:21It even handled the jump a little bit better than maybe we would have expected, I think.
22:28Now time to find out how to wheelie.

22:44It's almost like someone said,
22:46Hey Yamaha, give me a $7700 motorcycle
22:54with less than 75 horsepower
22:58that will do the best wheelies in the world.
23:01And Yamaha said, here's our best effort.
23:08I'm remembering actually that I mentioned
23:11the different cut of the transmission gears
23:13and how that reduced driveline lash.
23:15Let's try one more back in here.
23:18Not really. Not really.
23:22One more little wheelie though.
23:24Just for the heck of it.
23:26And yeah, if Yamaha didn't say anything to me about
23:30fixing driveline lash by changing the
23:32cut of the gears in the transmission,
23:34I wouldn't have noticed it.
23:36It's not great.
23:38Not improved in a way that I think is
23:40super notable.
23:42Still a little bit of that herky-jerky throttle response
23:44and a little bit of driveline lash.
23:47Incidentally, I do think the new
23:49MT-09 is quite a bit better.

23:57I have a feeling the MT-07 is going to do pretty well.

24:33This sounds great, doesn't it?
24:35Someone asked if it still sounds like a lawnmower.
24:39Sure.
24:41If your lawnmower sounds burly.
24:43And if you've ever heard an MT-07 with
24:45a pipe on it,
24:47I think it sounds delicious.
24:49It's just excellent.
24:51As is tradition,
24:53we're jumping into Instagram questions about the MT-07.
24:55Got a few pretty good ones here, in my opinion.
24:57First one is from Adventure Mikhail,
24:59who asks,
25:01having ridden the MT-03,
25:03is this a natural progression
25:05or a steep jump?
25:07Good question,
25:09because I think it's a little bit of both.
25:11It is a natural progression, obviously.
25:13It's the next one up in the lineup.
25:15It's not a whole lot more expensive.
25:17It's not a whole lot more powerful.
25:19But it's a sizable jump in energy, I would say.
25:21It is very docile.
25:23This has a little bit of a wild side.
25:25That being said,
25:27I can't help but recommend this bike,
25:29especially if you like the MT-03.
25:31I just think it's a great platform,
25:33it's well executed,
25:35and super fun to ride.

25:39Next question, 4E6 asks,
25:41how do you think it would fare against
25:43the awesome Triumph Trident?
25:45Objection, as always, leading the witness.
25:47I did say I was going to talk about
25:49the Triumph Trident.
25:51I did ride them back-to-back.
25:53The very quick notes,
25:55the wheelbase is approximately the same.
25:57I believe the swingarm
25:59on the Triumph Trident
26:01is sort of noticeably longer.
26:03And that means it's just sort of like
26:05less, I don't know,
26:07it wants to drive forward rather than wheelie.
26:09So it's just like a little bit less hooligan-y,
26:11a little bit more calm.
26:13Other things of note,
26:15the fueling throttle response on the Trident
26:17is as close to perfect as any motorcycle I've ever ridden.
26:19It is just excellent,
26:21which is a huge step up from this,
26:23which is far from excellent.
26:25The brakes on the Trident are much better
26:27than the MT-07.
26:29This feels a little bit more conventional to me,
26:31sort of sprightly and nimble.
26:33The Trident is light enough,
26:35it's not too bad, it weighs
26:37another 20 or 25 pounds more
26:39than this bike, but still not
26:41too heavy or anything.
26:43And then the last thing that I should note about the Trident
26:45is that it's very, very narrow between
26:47the knees.
26:49So on a Trident, when you sit
26:51on it like this and put your legs
26:53in toward the engine, there's much more
26:55space here. And for shorter riders, it's going to
26:57feel like the seat height is lower,
26:59quite a bit lower than the MT-07,
27:01I believe, based on feedback
27:03I got from a colleague who is
27:05shorter than I am. Next question from inlandadv,
27:07who asks,
27:09at 5'10", I always felt a little cramped
27:11on my 2016 FZ-07.
27:13Did they improve
27:15the ergonomics for
27:17the average to taller rider?
27:19So, yes, they did.
27:21The handlebar is moved
27:23as we talked about. I think taller
27:25riders will be fine as long as
27:27you're okay with the legroom. And if you're not, maybe a taller
27:29seat would help.
27:31But yeah, hopefully that makes sense.
27:33Next question is from nasosalex,
27:35would you like to see an SP
27:37version of it, or is the standard one fine
27:39for everyday use? I like the way this question is phrased,
27:41because it's easy for me to say
27:43yes, it is fine for everyday use.
27:45We don't need an SP version,
27:47in my opinion. Would an SP version be fun?
27:49Yeah, for sure, man. Let's put
27:51$3,000 worth of suspension
27:53on it, and, you know,
27:55way better brakes.
27:57So, yeah, that would be fun.
27:59But just, you know,
28:01if you want to get this bike and then
28:03put a whole bunch of money into suspension and brakes,
28:05you could just get a 20660,
28:07in my opinion. That's basically
28:09the SP version of this bike. Much more power,
28:11better brakes, better suspension,
28:13more features.
28:15So, if that's what you want,
28:17you can consider that. Hopefully that helps.
28:19Next question is from PeaksRetro,
28:21who asks, how does that tiny headlight perform?
28:23I saved this question because I got a lot
28:25of people asking about this little LED
28:27projector beam and saying, like, it's a headlight
28:29so tiny, does it even light up the road? It does.
28:31It works fine.
28:33It's not, you know,
28:35world-class headlight,
28:37but it's totally, totally adequate.
28:39Don't think that because it's got that scrunched up
28:41little face and a tiny little cyclops eye
28:43that it is, for some reason,
28:45not good enough to ride
28:47at night or something. It's
28:49just fine. Next question is from SassyQuatchGraham,
28:51who asks, is there
28:53really a place for this bike since the Tracer 700
28:55exists? First of all, yes.
28:57I think so. Second of all,
28:59the Tracer 700 does not exist in the United States
29:01of America, so for
29:03the US market, anyway, it is very
29:05relevant. Just a friendly

29:15did you have fun? Like,
29:17genuine fun?
29:19And the answer to that question, as you can probably
29:21guess at this point, is yes, I did.
29:23I had so much fun, and that's one of
29:25the things about this bike that is really just
29:27so difficult
29:29to describe, because, you know,
29:31the suspension is not great.
29:33The brakes could be better.
29:35It
29:37is arguably not the most beautiful
29:39bike in the world, even
29:41though I do kind of like the
29:43liquid charcoal
29:45gloss paint with the
29:47high-vis wheels. I don't know, I think they've got kind of a
29:49cool thing going with the MT aesthetic, but
29:51the point is, there are some things that you
29:53can pick at about this bike, and
29:55I sometimes get comments that say,
29:57well, why do you like it so much?
29:59It's just the engine, and it's the dynamic of the
30:01way the bike rides. It's so much fun.
30:03It's really
30:05genuinely entertaining for
30:07someone who is very, very
30:09experienced, and yet
30:11it's quite good for
30:13someone who's relatively new to
30:15motorcycling. It's basically the Pixar movie of
30:17motorcycles. You know, good for kids, good
30:19for adults.
30:21So yeah, I just
30:23can't emphasize enough how
30:25enjoyable it is to ride, even if it's
30:27not perfect. So hopefully that

31:09Which one would you rather have, MT-07 or that Streetfighter?
31:11Pretty easy to say you'd
31:13rather have the Streetfighter, right? I think day-to-day
31:15the MT-07 might be better, you know?
31:17It's more approachable. It's sort of like
31:19a little easier to ride,
31:21probably. Honda Africa
31:23Twin 1100.
31:25Comfortable bike.
31:27Lots of options.
31:29Great on the highway. Like, good bike.
31:31Great sport-touring bike. You can even
31:33take it on an off-road section a little bit if you
31:35want to.
31:37But it's big. I think
31:39the MT-07's got it beat.
31:41Which brings us to Yamaha
31:43Tenere 700.
31:45So, is an MT-07 better than
31:47a T7?
31:49I don't think so. I think the T7's got it beat.
31:51It's more capable. You can take it off-road
31:53if you want to. It's got some wind protection.
31:55It's better
31:57looking, in my opinion. You know, it's more expensive.
31:59So, you know, there's some give, there's some take.
32:01But yeah, I think the T7's
32:03got it beat. I think this is where
32:05it goes. Just under
32:07Yamaha Tenere 700.
32:09I don't think that it's better than its sibling
32:11if your inseam allows.
32:13But above a Street Triple R, what?
32:15Zach, you're crazy. A Street Triple R is so much
32:17better. Well, maybe.
32:19I mean, it's faster.
32:21It's got more options. It's sleeker.
32:23Arguably better looking.
32:25But,
32:27getting to work, MT-07 is so
32:29much fun. So much fun.
32:31And it's got ABS, which is the only real safety feature
32:33I feel like it needs.
32:35Slick little bike. Pretty good finish.
