00:00Matt, today how did you view the Moortlake market?
00:02Yeah, I think it was a pretty solid result, followed other centres, good yarding of cattle,
00:085,100 cattle, a lot of autumn drop calves hit the market a bit earlier than what we
00:12have seen due to conditions locally, and they've met reasonable demand, yeah, I think it'll
00:18be a bit softer than last month, but still a pretty solid result.
00:23So when you say it's a little bit softer, what sort of prices are we talking about?
00:27I'd say it'll be 15 to 20 maybe, in spots 30 cents cheaper than what we've seen previous
00:34months, last month was a pretty solid sale, and I think people would be reasonably happy
00:39with the result, they were coming open minded and, you know, weaner steers topped at $4.85
00:46or $6 and the heifers, we had a good run of weaner heifers made $3.90 for some good calves,
00:50so they came out to be pretty reasonable money, yeah.
