00:07introduce yourself hi i'm Rob Perez hi Rob and you've just been doing a demonstration here today
00:12i have i've done a demonstration just to perform to our clients here and our regulars that i made
00:19a chicken and mushroom pie today a good winter favorite chicken and mushroom pie
00:24so it's a real room it's a home easy meal yeah and this is where you're based then
00:30western park i am based here yes i am how long have you been been working here i've been working
00:35here for three years now yeah um been working in the granary restaurant so you were Shropshire lad
00:41a black country lad where do you live from i was actually originally i'm from london ah right okay
00:47but you've found the delights of Shropshire i have yes um moving up here just for something new
00:54yeah and challenging and how often do these demonstrations take place right so i've done
00:58this this my third one now i've got one more to do for the end of the year yeah we tend to
01:04try and do this like every season well okay so if people want to find out more about what's

01:30day i haven't thought that far yet yeah it's not about me it's about the family and the kids
01:37yeah it's the quality time it's not about the food yeah very true thanks ever so much rob and
01:43it's been fascinating watching all the best sir take care thank you and again it will take
01:49slightly longer for me if you do it in a pan i always feel it's the best thing reason being
01:56the heat is equal if you do it in something like glass i feel that the heat element is not as good
02:04i feel it steams with a pan because the heat is so consistent all the way through
02:10get that crispiness but it's been very simple to make through
02:15so that's why i'm as i say a pan is always a good joy for me i'll buy pans without handling
02:21in the oven it's like if i cook a whole chicken usually i'll do several different ways a whole
02:29chicken i'll steam it or boil it with lots of flavor take it out and then i'll finish it in
02:35the oven again i'll put it in the pan lots of like herbs garlic and then after i'll take it
02:41out when it's ready add a little butter and then just coat it and you add that coating this you
02:47add an extra flavor when you take butter to a certain temperature you get a nice nutty smell
02:53from it and then it gives it just that extra wonderful flavor through
