00:00Calaboso, the top one most wanted in a murder case in the district level of Pinonto, Manila.

00:06This is Denise Osorio in Tetalye.

00:12He confessed last time, but when the media talked, the suspect immediately changed his gun to his comrade because of the words.

00:20He was arrested, and after the arrest, he was released.

00:29A shooting incident in Parola Compound in Binondo, Manila was reported last year.

00:35The top one most wanted person in the district level, Elias Darwin, was arrested because of the murder of his comrade in September 2023.

00:45But when the arrested suspect appeared in front of the camera, he denied everything and insisted that he didn't know that his comrade was already dead.

00:53They told me that I was already dead. I don't know if I was already dead or not.

00:58Darwin added that he didn't have a gun to commit the crime.

01:02It's impossible for this to happen, especially that he was in prison at that time because of drugs.

01:09But the relatives of the victim, who is Elias Darwin, were positive about the shooting.

01:14We went to Parola Compound in Barangay 275, Zone 25, where the shooting took place.

01:20Here, we saw the side of the building where the victim was trying to escape.

01:25Suddenly, the suspect tried to escape and was shot in the back with a gun.

01:29But according to the relative, there was a witness that their comrade was the one who died.

01:34It's painful for us because our comrade was the one who died.

01:39Before he was shot, there was a warning to him.

01:44He didn't mention it to us.

01:49That's why we were shocked by what happened to him.

01:52They said that he was in debt.

01:57I think it's a big debt, but they didn't tell me that he has an attraction.

02:03According to the Manila Police District, the warrant of arrest of Manila RTC Branch 12 was issued on December 22, 2023.

02:11And because of the intense intelligence-driven operation, the accused was found in Bulacan.

02:17It's obvious that he will deny it, but the evidence against him and his warrant of arrest is strong.

02:23No one will recommend it to the public.

02:25The accused was charged with murder against Elias Darwin.

02:29According to the barangay officials, it's better to approach the officers or the police if there is a threat or gossip

02:35so that they will pay attention before the serious crime happens.
