00:10enjoy 40% of Petrol Ron 95 subsidies worth Rp 8 billion.

00:19Rp 8 billion is a government subsidy from people who borrow money to high-end groups and foreigners.

00:28Therefore, it is better to use this Rp 8 billion for the convenience of education, health and public transportation,

00:40As of now, the price of Petrol Ron 95 in Malaysia is Rp 2.05 compared to neighboring countries.

00:48In Thailand, it is Rp 5.85.

00:51In Indonesia, it is Rp 3.38.

00:54In Singapore, it is Rp 9.02.

00:57In Saudi Arabia, it is Rp 2.66.

01:01The low price caused the government to bear the amount of Rp 20 billion subsidy for Petrol Ron 95 in 2023.

01:11However, the government is committed to maintaining the subsidy.

01:15The government will maintain subsidies for the majority of the people,

01:20such as electric subsidies.

01:24This means that 85% of the people are not affected by the change in the subsidy of Petrol Ron 95.

01:33To avoid confusion, I emphasize once again that the subsidy payment is still continued for 85% of the people.

01:44Therefore, for 85% of the people, the government will have to pay a subsidy of Rp 12 billion for 85%.
