00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. soaked in his time marveling the stunning visual designs of products on display at the Manila Fame 2024 exhibit.
00:10The president hailed the impressive showcase of homegrown artistry and artisanship, declaring how the homegrown skill level is a notch above world class.
00:20Thus, with the products already on display, the next step is to market them and then distribution.
00:27And the design industry is no fledgling sector, having put in its close to seven and a half percent share of GDP and is clearly heating up to grow even more.
00:39I have to say that it's so impressive.
00:42I mean, I have watched the design community become better and better and better in the Philippines and approaching world class.
00:50Now, I would I would even go so far as to say that now we have in many cases that I've seen here today surpassed world class.
00:58We're better than others.
00:59And that's not the only thing.
01:03And that's what DPI is working very hard to do, is to promote it.
