00:02Today I'm going to take you through a day in my life, or in this case a weekend in my life,
00:07as I review the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
00:10Now, the first thing I do when I wake up is make a cup of coffee,
00:13truly essential for any day,
00:15and while I wait for my coffee to brew, I check my notifications and I read the news.
00:20Now, in the hand, I immediately feel how much more comfortable the iPhone 15 Pro Max
00:25is to hold and use when compared to the previous 14 Pro Max,
00:29and this, I think, is mainly thanks to two changes.
00:32First, the 15 Pro Max now uses a titanium frame, which not only looks great, it's also lighter.
00:38In fact, this makes the phone 19 grams lighter compared to the previous 14 Pro Max.
00:43And second is the titanium frame, which, while still flat, is slightly rounded by the edges,
00:48and these two changes combined make this large phone feel less large and overall nicer to hold in the hand.
00:55Now that my coffee is ready, it's time for me to get to work.
00:58Now, being a content creator is very rewarding and I really enjoy what I do,
01:02even if that means working a bit on the weekends.
01:05I normally like to start my day by organizing my inbox and replying to emails,
01:09and whilst I do that, I will often proof watch my most recent video in the background,

01:54and I'll get back to the second reason later in the day.
01:56So, now that my day is set out for me,
01:58let's get ready and head out and test the camera of the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
02:03Now, as I'm packing my bag, I use the brand new customizable action button
02:06to easily activate the torch and help me organize my bag.
02:10On the tube, I set my route on Maps and use the dynamic island for directions
02:14and to quickly switch between apps.
02:16Whilst traveling, I always like to have music playing,
02:19and it is great as this allows me to quickly switch between apps when I need to.
02:23And what I really like is that now with iOS 17, you can use Apple Maps offline,
02:27and this is a useful feature, especially when you are 100 foot underground.
02:31Heading out of the station, I use Apple Pay to instantly pay for my transport.
02:35I use Apple Pay for most of my regular daily spending,
02:38which is mostly Starbucks and food shopping.
02:41And I prefer this method as it's actually more convenient and also safer
02:45than carrying a wallet with physical cards.
02:47And here we are on location at one of London's financial districts,
02:51a great spot to put this camera system to the test.
02:54And thanks to the fact that the 15 Pro Max has double the base storage at 256 gigabytes,
02:59I can take as many videos and photos as I want.
03:02While I'm out taking photos, I'm using Casetify's Ultra Bounce case

03:40For me, they strike the right balance where colors come to life
03:44that are also accurate and not too vibrant like some others.

03:51equivalent to a 122mm focal length.
03:54And this brings next level optical zoom to your iPhone,
03:57letting you get much closer to your subject without compromising on image quality
04:01as you would with, say, a digital zoom.
04:04After getting the test photos I need for the 15 Pro Max,
04:07it's time to get some lifestyle shots for one of my upcoming videos.
04:10With the help of my dedicated assistant, also known as my fiancé.
04:14If you watch my videos, you probably know that I like to combine both in-studio shots
04:18with shots taken out in the city.
04:20I think it's important to show a product being used in the real world.

04:30It is hands down the best smartphone video camera out right now.
04:34After a couple hours of filming and enjoying this final day of autumn,
04:38it is time to head back home to my studio.
04:40And welcome to my studio.
04:42This is where the magic happens.
04:44Here I prepare both A-roll and B-roll.
04:46But for now, my main objective is to film some A-roll for an upcoming video.
04:50Now, A-roll is the footage you see of me talking to camera,
04:53which is in front of me.
04:54And this normally takes around 30 minutes or so.
04:57And then just above me, I have a second camera.
04:59And this I use for B-roll, which involves close-up shots
05:02of a given product to then complement the A-roll.
05:06In fact, while we're here, let me use this top-down angle
05:08and talk to you about the longevity.
05:10I would expect the iPhone 15 Pro Max to get anywhere from 6 to 7 years
05:14of software support and updates.
05:16And this is really incredible.

07:14Now that I have the outdoor and indoor shots completed,
07:17I can spend some time with my fiancé.
07:19Walking around town, I'm using Apple Maps to find my way,
07:22and the display of the 15 Pro Max is clear and easy to read.

07:28and with that 120Hz refresh rate, it is super smooth to use.

07:43This one here is taken with the 0.5 ultra-wide angle lens,
07:47and if I then gradually switch lenses,
07:49and then zoom into the boat in the very distance,

07:54the image is so sharp that you can even count
07:56how many people there are on the boat.
07:58Pretty impressive.
07:59Anyway, we've now arrived at the venue.
08:01My fiancé and I are actually headed to a wedding show,
08:04which is something that she's been raving on about for a long time,
08:07as we are actually planning our wedding
08:09and looking to get some contacts and inspiration.
08:12Now, as much as I'd love to talk about wedding planning,
08:14for this video, let's talk about the battery life on the 15 Pro Max.
08:18After several weeks of use, the 15 Pro Max, for me,
08:21gets around 8 to 9 hours of screen on time,
08:23which is well above the 7 to 8 that the regular 15
08:26or, say, the S23 will get you.
08:28And this is actually the second main reason
08:30why I switched to the larger Pro Max size.
08:33It is this battery life that means you don't need to bring a battery bank
08:36or even have to worry about running out before the end of the day,
08:40and this is something that I really value and look for in any phone.
08:43After a successful outing at the wedding show,
08:46on our way out, we saw EGX, which is a gaming convention,
08:49which was also taking place, and it caught our eye,
08:51so we went in to check it out.
08:53And here you can see how well the 15 Pro Max performs
08:56in lower light situations, with noticeably less noise
08:59and more detail when compared to last year.
09:02Taking photos in this darker environment
09:04really makes me appreciate the added grip of the Casetify case,
09:07as I don't have to worry about my phone slipping out of my hands.
09:10Walking around, there was so much to see and so many games on display.
09:14We really had a lot of fun, and I even competed
09:16to try and race the fastest lap in the new Forza game.
09:20Was I any good?
09:21Well, let's just say I finished first place in a lap that I did by myself.
09:26At the end of a productive and fun weekend,
09:28it's time to head back and relax with the TV on.
09:31Right now, I'm actually re-watching Suits,
09:33which is one of my all-time favorite shows.

09:39and I must say, it is so good to finally have a universal standard,
09:43ending each day with around 35 to 40% battery remaining.
