00:00He's on Deontay Johnson this week for the Carolina Panthers, 29 receptions, 340 yards,
00:09three touchdowns, 55 targets.
00:12And these are pretty much all numbers with Andy Dalton, fair, pretty much.
00:18Andy Dalton has not revitalized the Panthers offense, but he's given them a pulse.
00:24He still made a horrible mistake at the end of the game last week.
00:27It's kind of crazy, by the way, that Dalton is still playing in the NFL.
00:31But I think what we've learned, George, through the years is that these backup quarterbacks
00:37that are like Dalton and Flacco, I mean, they can probably stay around as long as they want
00:42to, which is why I guess I'm surprised Ryan Tannehill has not come back in.
00:46Like, that guy could play probably five more years if he wanted to as a backup quarterback.
00:49But Dalton is the signal caller, and he throws the ball to Deontay Johnson.
00:53So I don't think there's any fading going on right now.
00:56Yeah, I forgot about that.
00:58I wonder why Tannehill hasn't signed with the team.
01:00We heard earlier that he wanted to be with somebody who could compete for a starting
01:03job.
01:04Okay, what are you hoping for?
01:05A quarterback that gets hurt now for the year?
01:07I mean, I don't know, weird, but you're right.
01:09I'm surprised he's not there.
01:10Oh, yeah, I'm in on Deontay Johnson.
01:13I think he actually is a good wide receiver.
01:15It's just game script.
01:16They're going to be trailing in most games, going to have to throw the football.
01:18And Dalton, as you just said, old grizzled guy can still throw.
01:22He's going to make some bonehead decisions, but I don't care about that.
01:24You know, he'll get the ball to Deontay Johnson more often than not.
01:27You're going to have wide receiver two numbers from Deontay Johnson quite a bit here.
01:31And at the very least, wide receiver three.
01:33So we can use this guy, especially while the bye weeks are in session here.
01:36Yes, I wouldn't say I'm all in on Johnson, but he's a guy I like in fantasy quite a bit.
01:41Yeah, trade for Deontay Johnson.
01:43Looks like he could be a second-half guy.
01:44Meanwhile, the Seattle Seahawks kind of hard to predict.
01:47Jackson Smith and Jigba going into the season was thought to be one of those big sleepers.
01:52He does have the receptions.
01:54I mean, 34 is a pace for like 70 or so in the NFL.
01:59310 yards, a pace for like 900.
02:02But lacking those touchdowns, George, it seems like any time that Seattle gets close to the end zone,
02:08they're giving it to Kenneth Walker like once and twice and three times.
02:13Like he gets a ton of looks in the red zone.
02:16So I don't know that his touchdown numbers are on the rise here.
02:21That has been the problem really for everybody with Seattle.
02:24It's been with touchdowns.
02:26I was somebody who has Geno Smith in a couple of fantasy leagues,
02:28so I'm invested in him and watching his games.
02:31He has no problem getting inside the red zone.
02:34It's in the red zone he's having problems throwing touchdowns into the end zone.
02:37It's very frustrating.
02:38It's definitely cost me a game or two.
02:41So it's frustrating here.
02:42JSN is picking up over the past couple of weeks.
02:44We have to remember, there's three guys here.
02:46DK Metcalf is going to be the first guy.
02:48Lockett is probably more number three than number two, but he's about even with JSN.
02:52It seems like those are the two guys this week.
02:54It's Lockett or this week it's JSN.
02:56You know, you're sort of playing that game here.
02:58And we know Kenneth Walker is a good running back.
03:00That being said, I'm still willing to buy in here.
03:03I'm looking at their schedule, Atlanta, Buffalo, LA, San Francisco.
03:05I mean, it's not terrible.
03:07You've got a couple of hard games in there as far as they do.
03:09They play a Jets defense in week 13 there.
03:12But I'm still willing to buy in.
03:13But keep in mind, fantasy playoffs, it's not good.
03:17Green Bay, Minnesota, Chicago.
03:19That could be an issue.
03:20That could be your deciding factor right there and not going for them.
