00:00So guys, today we will be unboxing the Pixel 7 Pro and surprisingly the Pixel Watch, Google
00:08was nice enough to send this over since we are part of the Team Pixel program here.
00:13And I don't know if you guys can see that, but it says Team Pixel, it's just a little
00:17mirror here.
00:18But your retail packaging will look like this.
00:22I guess they kind of unboxed it for us already and I just do dramatic effect I guess.
00:28But here is the Pixel Watch, which I was not expecting.
00:31I rarely use smart watches, so we're going to actually make a separate video about this.
00:35Like I said, I was not expecting that.
00:37And then here's the Pixel 7 Pro here.
00:41And this is the Snow White version I believe, which is really, really nice.
00:46Looks extremely similar to the 6 Pro, it's just you have a new bar here that is just
00:53seamless.
00:54So you can see instead of it being like one individual bar, it's now seamless.
00:57It's metal as well too, which is really nice.
01:00And it overall feels and looks a little bit more premium, a little bit more refined as
01:05well.
01:06So we're going to go ahead and boot this guy up here.
01:10And just to show you what comes in your retail packaging here, it's not really anything too
01:17fancy here.
01:18You have your cable, manual, you know type C to type C, basically the standard stuff.
01:26And with the Pixel Watch, let's see here, I think it's pretty much, I think it's pretty
01:32much the same, same thing.
01:35Yeah, it's just a cable, and then we get manuals as well.
01:40The cable, the charger, as you can see, is going to be a little bit different.
01:44You can see like that, it'll look like this.
01:48And then we have a strap right here as well too.
01:53Alright, so that's pretty much it for that.
01:55Alright guys, we're all in on the 7 Pro here, and like I said, I'm really digging this design.
02:01The phone is actually really comfortable to hold as well too, and it just overall feels
02:06a little bit more premium, just playing with it and setting it up here.
02:09I want to talk about one of the things that stood out to me.
02:13The fingerprint scanner off the rip, I noticed, is much more responsive than the Pixel 6 Pro.
02:18So it just feels a little bit more faster.
02:21And also, if you never liked using fingerprint scanners, now you have the face unlock on
02:27here as well, which works really well, so I'm really excited about that.
02:31It works like a breeze, so I was really asking for that for a while, and we finally have
02:37face unlock on the Pixel 7 Pro, and it works flawlessly, excellent.
02:42So I was really happy about that.
02:44The screen on here is very nice here, it's pretty much similar to the Pixel 6 Pro here.
02:51I think by default, yeah, by default it was at full HD, but you go ahead and bump it up
02:57to 1440p, it is a full 1440p display.
03:00It's LTPO 120Hz on here, HDR10+.
03:05It actually gets up to 1500 nits peak brightness as well too, which is nice, it's 6.7 inches.
03:12And then, like I said, it is 1440p with 512 for the PPI, so extremely sharp display here.
03:19And actually, it does look like it has less of a curve now, like it's still curved, but
03:24the curve isn't as dramatic this year.
03:27I will compare it to the Pixel 6 Pro, but display on here is beautiful, I think they
03:31made a really good move with that, reducing the curve, because a lot of people hated the
03:38dramatic curve.
03:39Me, I didn't have a problem with it, I was a big fan of it actually, but I think a lot
03:43of people really like this display now, because it doesn't curve as dramatic, so you won't
03:48get those accidental touches.
03:50But overall, as far as the display goes, it's a really beautiful, bright, vibrant display
03:56here.
03:57So far, Android 13 has been a breeze so far.
04:02Like I said, the Pixel 6 Pro launched and it was super buggy, but this one is buttery
04:05smooth guys, it is super silky smooth, man.
04:09The Pixel phones to me always seem to be the most smoothest out of pretty much any Android
04:14that I've used.
04:16Everything just feels extremely fluid and fast, and like I said, no bloatware, that
04:21is the best thing about these Pixel phones, is that you just get your standard Google
04:26applications on here as well too.
04:28Now I've been playing a few games on here, and so far this phone has been pretty cool,
04:33as you can see Call of Duty Mobile, we're able to play at the ultra frame rates.
04:36The gaming experience is pretty nice on this phone as well too, everything runs really
04:41fast.
04:42I did a little gaming test for you guys, so you can see how this G2 does, this tensor
04:46chip does, but for the base model it is 128 gigs, and then you also have 12 gigs of RAM
04:52as well too, which is really sweet here.
04:55So this phone is going to be plenty enough powerful for the average person here.
05:07So just no issues.
05:08So far this phone is just blazing fast when it comes to performance in general.
05:14Next I'm going to go ahead and check out the stereo speakers and see if we see an improvement
05:19here.
05:37They sound really good, but they sound pretty much like the Pixel 6 Pro, so no real improvement
05:43that I can tell from.
05:45But the Pixel 6 Pro had excellent sounding speakers, some of my favorite actually, excellent
05:48bass quality.
05:49These are super loud, so it's pretty much the same, which is a good thing.
05:53Alright guys, let's go ahead and talk about the cameras on here.
05:56So I went out and just took some shots for you guys, so we do have the 50 megapixel lens
06:01on here, and then we have the new 48 megapixel telephoto lens that does 5x optical zoom,
06:07and then it goes all the way up to 30x zoom as well too.
06:11And then we also have a 12 megapixel ultrawide on here, and then we also have 4K60 on the
06:16front and back with a 10 megapixel selfie cam, and it's actually a 10.8 megapixel selfie
06:22cam, and it is a ultrawide selfie cam as well too.
06:26As you guys can see, the shots look really good.
06:28So my first impression of the shots is that it looks excellent, really beautiful pixel
06:35quality shots here.
06:36It's going to give you, like I said, this is always my go-to camera for if I'm going
06:40to take pictures.
06:41I just love how they do image processing, I love how the color comes out on skin tones
06:45and stuff like that.
06:46I just think this is overall just a great camera, it just really nails it.
06:51Now that it has better zoom as well too, which is really nice, it's nowhere near on par with
06:55the S22 Ultra zoom quality and just the specs in general, but this is a really good step
07:01in the right direction, and it does just a great job at night time shots and stuff
07:05like that.
07:06Like I said, I'm going to keep on playing with it a little bit, and I'll let you guys

07:11All right guys, here is the video on the Pixel 7, here's the ultrawide on here as well too.
07:20Here's our 2X, and then here's the 5X, so overall it looks pretty good.

07:37All right, so you do still have the same 5,000 milliamp battery in here, but what's being
07:45told is that you're going to have better battery life this year, and so far, just from what
07:49we've been seeing from other reviewers and stuff like that, that this phone has pretty
07:54good battery life, much better than the 6 Pro.
07:58This phone should easily do well over six hours of screen on time, and have some pretty
08:02good standby time as well too.
08:04It's got 30 watt charging, and of course, we do have the wireless charging still on
08:08here with the reverse wireless charging.
08:12Now, Google also has a mode on here where if you have a blurred shot, like something
08:18like this, or of a face or something, it'll use the software to go ahead and unblur it,
08:24and I'll show you guys that in another video.
08:26But yeah, so overall, the Pixel 7 Pro is looking pretty good.
08:31It's a really nice refinement.
08:32It's less buggy than the 6 Pro as well.
08:36It looks like the zoom quality is much improved on here.
08:39We'll have to compare that, but they made these small little tweaks that I'm really
08:43digging.
08:44I'm digging that they shrunk the curve on here as well too.
08:48I'm digging that the processor is better, and yeah, so overall, just really, really
08:55nice experience so far.
08:57It's just super fast.
