00:00Yo, what's up guys, so I've gotten this question a few times. Are there any $100 smartphones that I can use as a
00:07Secondary phone and some of these you can actually still use as a main phone as well, too
00:11But I know some of you guys are on Android and you might want to do a low investment into iOS just to use
00:16FaceTime or iMessage or something like that
00:18So I also have an option for that too
00:20But you'd be surprised there are some phones that you can find for $100 and a lot of these are gonna be on eBay
00:25You can find them sometimes on Amazon, Swappa, places like that as well, too
00:29So definitely search around but these definitely are going for $100. Alright, so first up is the LG V60
00:36This is a fantastic option
00:38eBay has them on
00:39their site for $100 and I think this is probably the best deal even if you use this phone as a
00:44Secondary device you can also pair it with a dual screen case and get the true
00:50Multitasking experience, which is really awesome. It's built like a tank
00:53It's got aluminum frame, glass back, IP68 dust and water resistant. It's got a physical headphone jack and SD card support
01:00Like I said, you also have that dual screen case as well, too that you can buy and it's just a beast as a
01:06Secondary device or even a main device. This phone got the Android 13 update as well, too
01:11Which I made a video about it was very surprising
01:14So this one has a P OLED display HDR 10 plus at 6.8 inches. It's 1080p
01:21395 for the PPI and it's a very good panel for what it is
01:25And it's a snapdragon 865 chip on here and 128 gigs of internal storage and 8 gigs of RAM
01:31Believe me. This device is still very very fast. It's a very fast phone and I have no issues with
01:38The overall speed of this device is a very snappy phone and you also have really good gaming performance on here as well, too
01:45So, like I said just as a cheap gaming option, it's still a beast with this 865 chip
01:50this phone also has like I said pretty good stereo speakers and the
01:55headphone jack with the quad deck in it, which is kind of unique in
01:592023 because you don't have a lot of phones with headphone jacks and not only that but a quad deck as well, too
02:05Under the display fingerprint sensor is fine. You also have a pretty decent camera setup
02:10It's a 64 megapixel standard 13 megapixel ultra-wide 0.3 depth sensor shoots an 8k 30
02:1610 megapixel selfie shoots in 4k 30. It still takes pretty good pictures in good lighting
02:22So if you're outdoors this takes, you know, really good pictures my opinion still really good color science dynamic range
02:28One thing I wish is they put it like a dedicated telephoto lens on here
02:32But other than that, it's a really really good
02:35Camera as well, too
02:36And not only that but the battery life is fantastic on the V60 excellent standby time and really good screen on time as well
02:42So you can easily get day and a half of battery life out of here and it also has wireless charging as well
02:48Next is the Galaxy S10e. These are going for like 134 and this is a extremely impressive phone
02:55I wish Samsung would remake this phone with this screen size because it's extremely comfortable
03:00It's a whole one of my favorite phones of all time definitely in my top 10 and it's got an aluminum frame glass back

03:09Still a really nice dynamic AMOLED displays HDR 10 plus at 5.8 inches so you can one hand this pretty easily
03:16It's also 1080p 438 for the PPI
03:19It got his last update with Android 12 when you're at 4.1. Now I get the question. Does everything work on here?
03:25Yes, everything still works. It actually still plays PUBG at HDR extreme
03:29So it's able to play that really well with the snapdragon 855 and it's still a very very fast phone
03:35Micro SD card support 128 gigs of internal storage and 6 gigs of RAM
03:40Easily makes for you know, a great backup device. I took this to CES with me. I think the
03:462020 and yeah, it just goes really good with a big phone and then you have a small phone
03:51So it doesn't take up that much room in your pocket and stuff like that
03:54So you do have a headphone jack stereo speakers, which actually sound amazing for the size of this device NFC
04:02Fingerprint scanner is side mounted. It's physical
04:05This phone is not getting security patches and stuff like that
04:07So all I did was put some antivirus software on here and it's been good to go
04:13It's very safe still to use so I don't have an issue with that personally
04:16You just need to watch make sure you don't download anything. That's not on the Play Store
04:20You also have a pretty decent camera on here. It's a 12 megapixel standard and a 16 megapixel ultra-wide
04:25It shoots in 4k 60 with a 10 megapixel selfie cam that shoots in 4k 60 and again, it takes some decent
04:33Photos and you know good lighting. I think it still takes pretty good photos
04:39Honestly, you know indoor lighting is it could be a little bit better just start to see its age a little bit
04:44But other than that, it's still a pretty good phone for taking pictures with honestly
04:49You also have one here at three thousand one hundred milliamp hour battery
04:53Wireless charging and then you have reverse wireless charging on as well on here
04:57The battery life is the only thing about this phone you get around like four hours and 30 minutes of screen on time
05:03Which is definitely not a day. So you have to definitely I charge this device now for anybody who is on Android
05:09And you just kind of want to experience iOS, but you want it to be low investment
05:13I will go with an iPhone SE the 2020 edition
05:17the reason I say that is because this phone also got iOS 17 and
05:22It is like a hundred bucks on on eBay and swapping places like that
05:27You can find it very very cheap and it's just a good device
05:30As a secondary phone or just to experience FaceTime or iMessage or something like that
05:35It is the older iPhone design. It's got the aluminum frame
05:39IP67 dust and water resistant. What's funny? Is that the newest version of the SE still looks like this, which is hilarious
05:45It also has a 4.7 inch display. It's in retina IPS display
05:51625 nits peak brightness. It's 720p plus
05:54326 for the PPI. It's a decent display
05:57You know, it's nothing, you know, nothing too special
06:01Also, you have like I said the highlight with is getting out. It was 17
06:04It has actually a very strong chip. The Apple A13 chip is still very powerful chip
06:11It still plays PUBG at HDR extreme. It still flies through iOS. It's actually pretty impressive

06:18You also have 64 gigs of internal storage and 3 gigs of RAM and then you also have on here stereo speakers
06:25Which sound decent again for its size. They're okay
06:28What's really cool is a lot of people like the physical fingerprint
06:32Scanner on here and also using it as a home button
06:35So if you're somebody that likes that then you know, that's there right you also have on here the camera
06:42It's just one camera. It's a 12 megapixel standard
06:45It's using 4k 60 and then a 7 megapixel selfie shoots in 1080 30. The camera is decent
06:51I think it actually takes some pretty decent stills
06:53But if there's no ultra-wide, there's no telephoto
06:57So it's kind of limited experience and the front camera doesn't do 1080 60 so the camera situation it's okay
07:04It just it takes a decent stills in my opinion battery life. This is another one since it's a small phone
07:09A battery life isn't gonna be that great
07:131821 milliamp hour battery it does do wireless charging as well, which is pretty nice
07:17But overall this is a phone you're gonna have to charge to as well
07:20now this is also another great option for anyone looking for a
07:24Secondary phone with a great camera or just in general this phone is still really good
07:29And it also got the Android 14 update recently or it is getting it as well
07:34So it's got the aluminum frame one here aluminum back actually
07:39IP67 dust and water resistance got an OLED display. It's HDR
07:436.3 inch display 1080p 415 for the PPI
07:47Unfortunately, there's no high refresh rate, but you know, it is what it is
07:51You can find this phone easily for a hundred bucks, so I was actually pretty surprised by that
07:56So this phone again Snapdragon 765 G on here and the chip is okay
08:03It's not a slow phone by any means it games fairly decently not as good as the older flagships
08:09But it does a decent job with performance and running the stock version of Android you get the Google experience
08:15As well to you you can use the Android 14 beta on it right now

08:21128 gigs of internal storage 6 gigs of RAM is on board pretty good stereo speakers
08:26It actually does have a headphone jack as well, too
08:29So that's very surprising the fingerprint scanner is real not rear mounted on the back. So if you it's physical it's on the back

08:37This I think has the best camera on the list. It's got the classic, you know pixel
08:43Camera experience on here and it takes really really good photos at 12.2 megapixels standard 16 megapixel ultra-wide
08:50She's in 4k 60 8 megapixel selfie cam shoots in 1080 30 and it just takes some fantastic
08:56Photos really good dynamic range really good detail good image processing. It's just an impressive camera
09:03It's I think it takes just as good photos as like some of the latest flagships
09:08So for $100 to get a top-notch camera
09:10I think is is a steal right and lastly the galaxy a 14 5g
09:16This phone I got it for a hundred bucks, and I was surprised
09:20Again, it will be like my last option
09:23But it is a new phone so you can get it brand new not used or refurbished for a hundred bucks
09:29But it's gonna be locked to a carrier. I was surprised at how I didn't absolutely hate the phone
09:35But like I said, I wouldn't choose this one over the rest of them unless you just wanted a new phone and you want like
09:42There's something about this phone that you like you check just check out my video, but in general
09:47The phone was decent. It's a plastic key bill and you know, just a plastic phone. It's a hundred bucks
09:53It's got a PLS display LCD 90 Hertz. I was surprised by that the display was somewhat decent
09:58But the color was off when you you know
10:02Display like if you tilt the screen the color would be off and again if you look at a head on it is fine
10:08It's running Android 13 when you i5
10:10The core edition and it has the Xenos 1330 chip, which was again decent
10:16It was able to play pub G at some weight. Okay settings
10:20It's got micro SD card support and a headphone jack surprisingly
10:24so that's really good and
10:27Yeah, it's it's okay it's it runs fine. I think the cameras on here were probably the worst
10:34It's a 50 megapixel standard 2 megapixel macro 2 megapixel depth
10:391080 30 on the front and back with a 13 megapixel selfie
10:42I just wasn't impressed with the image quality of the a14 and again, it's $100 phone
10:47But even in outdoor lighting these older flagships pretty much smoked this phone in terms of color and detail and overall just quality
10:57The fingerprint scanner side mounted was decent 5,000 milliamp battery. I think it's a highlight
11:02It doesn't have pretty good battery life. So I was surprised by that
11:05So it's an overall decent phone if you want something new and you know, it's somewhat decent
