00:005-0 against 4-1.
00:07Division favorite on the line.
00:09It's very possible that conference favorite is on the line.
00:12Let's get crazy.
00:13If it's Super Bowl favorite, be on the line with a win here.
00:18It's possible.
00:19It's possible.
00:20We've got the Minnesota Vikings laying one and a half points at home, Donnie, to maybe
00:25becoming your Detroit Lions.
00:28Big game here in the NFC North.
00:30I love this.
00:31This game is absolutely fantastic.
00:33Now understand this, as we set up the two biggest games of the day, old school Donnie
00:37Wright side would say, let's just go 2012, 2013, 2014.
00:40Let me get this straight here.
00:43Team off a bye, unbeaten on the season, maybe not getting enough respect as they should
00:47on both sides here.
00:48I'd be eating up Kansas City and also the Minnesota Vikings.
00:51I'm not doing that.
00:52And sometimes I let my eyes deceive me at times in my older age, because I love everything
00:57that the Detroit Lions are doing right now, Kevin, defensively, offensively, and coming
01:01into the season.
01:02I said Detroit would have the best offense in the NFL.
01:05Why?
01:06Predicated on the best offensive line, the best running game, legitimate wide receivers,
01:09a top three play caller in Ben Johnson, maybe in some circles, the best overall.
01:14So I'll start there.
01:15I'm looking at the Lions to go in and say, we are the best team in this division.
01:19We are the best team in this conference.
01:21We're going to show it today.
01:22I agree with them.
01:23And he's old as dirt.
01:24Don't make no mistake about it.
01:26Born in 71.
01:27Born in 71.
01:28I'll just, I'll say this with the breakdown, the way Jared Goff has played over the past
01:34couple of weeks, 36 of 43 completions, 313 yards, three touchdowns.
01:39They torched the Dallas secondary, Jamison Williams steps up, big touchdown, right?
01:44Three catches, 76 yards, Laporta.
01:47They just have multiple weapons and the continuity on the offensive line is just coming together.
01:52They're protecting Jared Goff.
01:54They're running the football.
01:55The defense is forcing turnovers on multiple occasions.
01:58They're just finding ways to dominate teams.
02:01It might be close for a half, but then they just find ways to pull away in the second
02:05half.
02:06They did it against Seattle, right?
02:07In the fourth quarter.
02:08When I look at this game, the biggest concern for me, guys, is Sam Donald, right?
02:13Second half against the Jets.
02:14He did not look good, 179 yards in that game.
02:17I think they're going to have to run it a little bit more.
02:20We know Aaron Jones banged up and out.
02:22Mike Chandler, can he do exactly what Aaron Jones does in that offense?
02:27This has to be a J.J. game, Kev.
02:30If anybody's going to break out, I took J.J. over the 91 and a half.
02:33He's got to get to 125 to take the pressure off everybody else in that lineup.
02:39I think this is a really tricky game for me where Minnesota is in an incredible spot.
02:48We're at home off a buy against a team who just had probably the best performance in
02:53the history of their head coach.
02:56We try and sell high, right?
02:58The number, I cannot bet.
03:01I've watched the Vikings play every single one of these teams this season and catch points.
03:06Every single one of them.
03:07Detroit just went to Dallas and laid three and a half.
03:11I was a little bit surprised to see that number, right?
03:13I bet Dallas last week obviously got punched around with black and blues.
03:17That's fine.
03:18That's how it is.
03:19But to see now Detroit, I know it's light, I know it's small, but it all matters to me.
03:24A dog in this game.
03:26The Vikings being a full four, four and a half points better than the Dallas Cowboys.
03:30I don't know.
03:31That still sounds like a lot.
03:32Maybe I'm holding on to some Cowboys priors too much.
03:34It's just one of those things where in a perfect world, this is Detroit minus three.
03:40I'm on Minnesota, eyes closed.
03:42Let's hope for the best.
03:43At the number, I can't get there.
03:45What I can get to though, is I'm on Ross St. Brown bouncing back in a monster way.
03:51A pair of games under 75 receiving yards.
03:53Well, he will step up like every single number one wide receiver so far Donnie has against
03:59this Minnesota defense because they'll put teams sometimes behind the eight ball and
04:03you got to go.
04:04Who do you trust the most?
04:05If you look the number one wideouts, they face five of them are averaging a hundred
04:09yards per game and they're stars.
04:11Don't get me wrong that they've gone against Garrett Wilson.
04:14You know, Niko Collins, Debo Samuel, but all of these guys are getting through 75 plus
04:20I'm in rod does the same.
04:21And also I'm going to rise wonderful red zone trades.
04:23It weighs a good wide receiver understandably, but he's not that big stature guy.
04:26We're throwing fades in the back of the end zone too.
04:28He's unbelievable with that slip screen inside the five to 10 yard line to get in the end
04:32zone or just making a great move around the pylon.
04:34Hear me out on this though.
04:35If you're looking to bet the Minnesota Vikings Joe for me in this game, I just come down
04:39to and say, it's got to be on Justin Jefferson.
04:41If he's held below his number, they don't win this football game because the way you
04:45attack that secondary for Detroit is the way you can win.
04:47And also what's going to hold up on that defensive line.
04:49Aidan Hutchinson is one of the best pass rushers in the NFL this year.
04:51He's no longer going to be there.
04:53Does he come back for a Superbowl run?
04:54Probably not at this point, but also Aaron Jones, when he's healthy, that offense cooked.
04:59How healthy is he today?
05:00Joe?
05:01I don't know.
05:02He's banged up and Minnesota's second best rush defense.
05:04So that's, that's a cause of concern for the game.
