00:00Now, if you joined us for halftime, then you heard us talk about the fact that it was a
00:07narrow, narrow margin for the Jets to be on top 15 to 13. And look, it takes great football
00:12minds, but it also takes talent to come into the second half, make some adjustments and
00:16then pull off a 37 to 15 victory. Steelers come out with a W over the Jets. And let's
00:23just say Jets now moved to a two and five record. And that might not be the most flattering
00:26thing to get Devontae Adams and company interested or have the buy-in continue out through the
00:32rest of the season. So let's make a video made of this Sunday night matchup. Tom, what
00:37did you think? Because the headlines were all about the Steelers going to Russell Wilson.
00:41A lot of fans were kind of indecisive about why even make the move. It felt like everything
00:45was working with Justin Fields. But as the game started to pick up, what fans started
00:49to realize, what commentators started to talk about was the fact that Russell Wilson can
00:53air out the ball. He can give quicker reactions versus needing to rely on his legs or deciding
00:58to rely on his legs. So what did you make of this? Yeah, this game certainly had a ton
01:03of storylines. Everyone was focusing in on Devontae Adams being traded to the Jets, etc,
01:08etc. But really adding one receiver is never going to be as big as a team switching quarterback.
01:14And you know, a lot of people were skeptical about Wilson. He started off the game like
01:18super slow, like that is very clear. But this is also the first time you played the season,
01:22right? He didn't play in preseason. They talked about, they said the last game he played was
01:26Christmas Day of last year. So yeah, like the first quarter or whatever, like he was
01:30going to start slow because quarterbacks started slow in week one across the league. Just took
01:35some time for him to get fully involved in the offense. And slowly got better. And when
01:39they started to air the ball out, we saw that couple of long throws to George Pickens, couple
01:43of great catches from George Pickens as well. And you know, it's going to be a talking point
01:48when you change a quarterback on a team that's sitting there 4-2. And yeah, they may not
01:53have looked amazing at 4-2, but they were winning games. And now, you know, do I think
01:57Russell Wilson gives them a better chance to win? Maybe. And that yet to be seen, I
02:02would say fully across the board. But good stuff from the Steelers. Obviously, the game
02:06flew over the total. It closed at 40 or 39 and a half. I was on the under. So this game
02:12flew over that. Steelers, obviously, they money line hits, they cover. Pickens goes
02:18over his prop. Well, we got a touchdown from Harris at the end. Russell Wilson's going
02:23over his prop, etc, etc. So, you know, if you're a Steelers fan, I would say this is
02:27very encouraging from where they were and maybe indecisiveness at quarterback, but all
02:33good stuff from them.
02:35Yeah, definitely all good stuff. And at least you've got options at that quarterback
02:39position. And you know that both options kind of work for you because you can make the
02:42adjustments around them.
