00:00Good day, you beautiful people! Welcome to Ysera's Tech, where we do tech in your life, in style.
00:17It's time for another vlog test, and in this video, we're checking out the cameras of the Vivo V27 Pro.
00:22Now, the last V Series Pro I tested out, I was pretty impressed with the camera capability.
00:28So, I'm really excited to see how these cameras fare. If you're new to the channel, know that these videos are when I take these cameras out and about.
00:36So, you'll see for yourself just how they perform in real-life travel scenarios.
00:40I'm in Cambodia right now, so we're gonna go explore. But before that, a few key things about this phone and its cameras, and why I'm definitely excited to test them out.
00:58It has powerful stuff like 66W fast charging on its 4600mAh power battery, and also considering the fact that it's a very sleek phone.
01:16Also, fun features like Aura Night Lighting, which is supposed to make low-light shooting better with a flash.
01:22And finally, that fun back cover, which changes color under the sun.
01:28But to get to the stuff that we really want to test out, this phone reps three cameras on the back.
01:43That's a 50MP main shooter at the back with OIS and a Sony IMX766V.
01:49V because supposedly, Vivo and Sony collaborated on the sensor.
01:53There's an 8MP wide-angle camera and a 2MP macro shooter.
01:58Up front, that's a 50MP selfie shooter, which I like.
02:02Powerful cameras for the selfie cameras, the V series has been doing this.
02:07There's also autofocus on the front-facing camera.
02:09So, without further ado, let's test these cameras out.
02:12I don't know how much you can hear me because we are by the ocean.
02:30We're at Cap Beach, home of a great crab market, which is around 35 minutes away from Kampot province via a motorcycle.
02:41And yes, I did get on a motor vehicle.
02:44Which brings me to the next point of, yes, I did try shooting with a Vivo V27 Pro as I was on that motorcycle.
02:52I wasn't driving, of course.
02:53And that particular situation was a good show of how good stabilization on this phone can get.
02:59There are two stabilization modes on this phone.
03:02You have your normal one and then you have the ultra stabilization, which I used for most of the motorcycle shots.
03:08And as you saw, it was pretty impressive how it held up considering that not all the roads we're on were as smooth.
03:15That short ride led us to this bustling seaside where we're about to have lunch.
03:20We're having seafood seasoned with, of course, the world-renowned Kampot peppers.
03:24Considering how bright and intense lighting was at this spot, I was actually pretty impressed with HDR capabilities.
03:55We've now moved spots.
04:01So what's great about the Vivo V27 Pro is the fact that it has 4k 30 or 60 fps on the rear,
04:09right there, there, on the rear cameras.
04:12But this is not something you see on all phones, especially when they're not flash of devices.
04:18There's also 4k on the front-facing camera 40 or no, sorry, 4k 30 or 60 fps.
04:25And this actually is what 4k 30 fps looks like being shot on the front-facing camera of the Vivo V27 Pro.
04:36And for comparison's sake, this is 4k 60 fps.
04:39You can zoom up until, oh, you can zoom.
04:432x, 1x, let's see if 30 fps is the same.
04:484k 30 fps, zooming up until 2x, zooming out until 1x, 1080p 60.
04:58Same thing, it's a 2x zoom, 1x, 1080p 30, 2x, 1x.
05:08So I think that this is a great thing because for people who like vlogging,
05:14you can most definitely just use the front-facing camera and not worry about the resolution.
05:19There's also a live portrait mode on video and you can see like the cutout that that's doing
05:24to my hair.
05:26This is an aperture of 1 and you can do up to 16 so you get the idea, blurry hair to not blurry.
05:32But the thing with this is if you turn on this mode, it does revert to 1080p 30 fps.
05:39I take it back, it was 1080p 24 fps.
05:43But also another thing to point out is when you do turn on stabilization,
05:484k downgrades to 1080p as well.
05:51Anyway, that being said though, I have been shooting with this phone camera since yesterday
05:57and here are some shots.
05:58Most of the shots I did here was on 4k.
06:02So a quick sample of what these cameras can do.
06:13So
06:37walking and talking with a front-facing camera, this is what that looks like.
06:41But there is a version of like a steady mode
06:43with a front-facing camera and it's called Steady Face.
06:46Let's turn it on.
06:48And wait, crossing the street guys.
06:53This is walking and talking with Steady Face on.
06:55I did try it while on the motorcycle and it looked good.
07:07So on the back here, you see that we have that Aura lighting till flash
07:13which we're gonna be trying out later.
07:14But aside from the main 50 megapixel shooter and the wide, we have a 2...
07:19Oh wait, we have a 2 megapixel macro camera.
07:23Let's see what type of shots this can take.
07:26So this is basically normal 1x.
07:31But if I turn on macro, this is what the shot looks like.
07:43I would normally say who needs a macro camera
07:45but at this instance as we hung out by the beach, we caught a quick snap of this guy.
08:00Right, back at our spot.
08:08We got a little rain on the motorcycle there.
08:10We're back in Kampot in our hotel with this wonderful view.
08:15So I think it's time for more photos and videos.
08:19Let's go.
08:20Okay, 1080p, 30 fps, 1x.
08:25Can zoom up until...
08:31Still zooming, still zooming.
08:3510x.
08:35So up until 10x and then you can do wide up until...
08:40Let's see.
08:43Like that's a slow zoom.
08:46Wide, so you can do wide on 4k.
08:49You can't do wide, 1080p, 60 fps and you can zoom up until...
08:55I like how they sort of throttle the zoom.
08:58So like it's always feeling smooth when you zoom in or out.
09:03This is 10x and you can do wide up until...
09:08Can this do like more than 1x?
09:11Can this do wide?
09:12Let's see.
09:13Okay, no.
09:14Okay, no.
09:15It reaches the limit at 1x.
09:184k, 30 fps this time.
09:20Like I said, this can't do wide and this can zoom up until...
09:27Let's see.
09:28I think still 10k.
09:30So 10k, 10x, sorry.
09:33This is 10x right there.
09:39Back to...
09:441x.
09:45Finally, 4k, 60 fps.
09:47We have 1x.
09:49Now this is the max resolution for this phone for the rear cameras.
09:54Actually, you can do 4k 60 front and back.
09:58Oh here, 10x.
09:59Look at the boats.
10:01And then wide to 1x.
10:11There we go.
10:12Again, no wide on 4k.
10:14This video probably gonna be exported in 1080p because there are a couple of 1080p clips.
10:21But again, just to point out that we're not exporting in 4k 60 or 1080p 60.
10:28But I am showing you clips so you see how the camera switches or like
10:34treats different resolutions to see like if there's any discrepancies between like
10:38how videos look.
10:40But also look at my shoulders.
10:42That's from the bike ride.
10:45Sad.
10:53Look at this view.
10:54Okay, so this is dual view mode.
10:56Again, this is not the first we've seen of this mode.
10:59But like all these little fun features that you can use for social media and stuff like that.
11:05I always appreciate.
11:06I love that you can do a little heart.
11:08It's so cute.
11:08You can do others.
11:09If you're ever lucky enough to find yourself in this part of the world,
11:14you'll soon learn that there is nothing that beats Indochina's sunsets.
11:23So I love this photo, but I feel like I put too much bokeh on it.
11:28And you can actually fix it.
11:32So I'm gonna do a little bit of bokeh.
11:34So I'm gonna do a little bit of bokeh.
11:36And you can actually fix it.
11:41In the in-app editing tool.
11:42I love it.
11:44So I think this is good.
11:47You can see the background.
11:48You can see like the subject.
11:51Perfect.
12:01So dinner's over.
12:02We just saw the sunset.
12:04And now we're gonna walk to a night market to get some food.
12:08But I'm also gonna be shooting with a phone.
12:11Because like you saw earlier, this phone has...
12:15Wait, give me a second.
12:16Let me show you.
12:18It has...
12:22Wait.
12:23No, wait, wait, wait.
12:24I got this.
12:26It has that nightlight thing.
12:31And this is supposed to work with an AI algorithm that makes you...
12:35That gives you like better low-light portraits.
12:38So I want to see just how well that does that exactly.
12:43The first ride didn't really give as crazy results.
12:46As you can see, there doesn't seem to be much difference between these shots.
12:50Actually, I'm not even sure which ones were taken with aura lighting and which ones weren't.
12:55But this feature really made a difference when it was.
13:00Very, very dark.
13:13Right, that's it for today.
13:16What's going on with my hair?
13:18But yeah, walking and talking with the front-facing camera.
13:21That is our camera vlog test.
13:22I'll see you all next time.
13:24Let me know what you think about the cameras of the Vivo.
