00:00President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. has returned to the country after witnessing the inauguration of the new Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto.
00:11There, the President emphasized the goal of strengthening the friendship between the two countries.
00:17Former President Joko Widodo was also honored by President Marcos for his role in strengthening the cooperation between the Philippines and Indonesia.

00:32President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. honored the new Indonesian President, Prabowo Subianto, after his inauguration, which was personally attended by the first couple.
00:47President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos witnessed the inauguration of the President of the largest economy in Southeast Asia.
00:59Prabowo Subianto was formally inaugurated as the 8th President of Indonesia, and the youngest Vice President of Indonesia, Gibran Rakabumi, yesterday at the House of Representatives Building in Jakarta.
01:15The first couple was invited by the former and current Indonesian President Joko Widodo, who gave an important speech.
01:24In his greeting, President Marcos said that he and the First Lady are happy to be part of this occasion, which is special for friends who visit and the international community.
01:40Indonesia was recognized by the Executive Board as a long-standing partner and close friend of the Philippines in the region.
01:49He also gave the desire to strengthen the friendship of the two countries in this historic occasion, which was held on the 75th anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between the Philippines and Indonesia in November.
02:07This is not the first time that the two leaders of the country met.
02:12Prabowo gave a courtesy call on September to President Marcos in Malacanang, a few months after he won the election.
02:20The two leaders then promised to strengthen the alliance of the two countries.
02:27Therefore, President Marcos' visit proves the deep and strong friendship between the Philippines and Indonesia.
02:36It is also a symbol of the commitment of the two countries to expand and strengthen the bilateral relations.
02:46Meanwhile, President Marcos recognized the contribution of the former President of Indonesia, Selwidodo, who helped strengthen the cooperation of the two countries.
02:57In 2022, Indonesia was President Marcos' first state visit, where he was warmly received by Widodo, who also visited the Philippines in January 2024.
