00:27One of the main attractions in Fugao province is the Rice Terraces.

00:33This is a UNESCO heritage site in Banawe.

00:37This is one of the largest rice terraces in Fugao.

00:422,000 houses have been built.

00:44Let's take a look.

00:46More than 30,000 tourists visit the tourism sites in the municipality.

00:54More than 12,000 tourists drop off points.

00:58More than 17,000 tourists stay overnight at the accommodation establishments.

01:04This is the Municipal Tourism Office.

01:07More than 50,000 to 80,000 tourists visit the rice terraces during the holiday season.

01:17The Banawe Municipal Tourism Office is responsible for the tourism.

01:23We have a lot of upcoming training and first aid.

01:28We have tour guides and accommodation establishment workers.

01:33We also have a lot of upcoming meetings.

01:38We have tour guides who come back prepared.

01:43They expect visitors during the peak season.

01:49There are 25 tour guides who are trained to provide services to the tourists.

01:57The accommodation establishments that accommodate the tourists during the holiday season are officially opened.

03:28Dr. Eva Marie Cotamon Dugyon, President of Fugao State University,

03:33Dr. Jesson Del Amen, Faculty Member at the College of Agriculture at BSU,

03:38Dr. Jimmy Fong, Faculty Member at the College of Arts and Communication at the University of the Philippines, Baguio,

03:45Dr. Kenneth Laruan, Director of the Cordillera Regional Apiculture Center at BSU,

03:50and Dr. Mark Preston Lopez, Vice President for Academic Affairs at Mountain Province State University.

03:57The applicants are invited to the vision mission program for the university.

04:02This public forum is an activity intended to give the academic community and other stakeholders

04:09the opportunity to listen to the applicants' vision, plans, and programs.

04:16In the presence of BSU President Felipe Comilla, the applicants are invited to the university

04:21to help the stakeholders in providing quality education.

04:27What happened is the creation of four new colleges,

04:33and then these new courses, actually 11,

04:39then we have the latest, the College of Medicine, this is the 12th course.

04:45And of course, aside from that, the infrastructure to support these different colleges.
