00:00Almost the entire country is affected by Hurricane Christina, which is now stronger than the Tropical Storm.

00:12Good morning to all of us. Here is our latest update on the hurricane that we are watching.

00:20Hurricane Christina has maintained its strength and is now heading to the Philippine Sea, east of the Bicol Region.

00:29Earlier this morning, Tropical Storm Christina passed through the center of the Philippines,

00:35at a distance of 335 kilometers east of Viraca, Tanduanes.

00:41There was a strong wind that reached 65 kilometers per hour near its center,

00:47and the wind gusts reached 80 kilometers per hour.

00:51It continues to move at a speed of 10 kilometers per hour.

00:59Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 is high in the province of Tanduanes,

01:06while Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 1 is here in the province of Ilocos Norte,

01:12Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Apayao, Calinga, Abra, Mountain Province, Ipugao, Benguet,

01:20Cagayan, Bapuyan Islands, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Tarlac, Zambales,

01:28Bataan, Pampanga, Pulacan, Metro Manila, Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon,

01:36Polulio Islands, Masbate, Tikau Islands, Bureas Islands, Marinduque, Romblon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, Albay, and Sorsogon.

01:48On the other side, the provinces of Eastern Samar, Northern Samar, Samar, Leyte, Biliran, and Southern Leyte,

01:57and in Mindanao, along with Dinagat Islands, Surgao del Norte, Surgao, and Bucas Grande Group.

02:05Strong winds will also be felt in Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Palawan, Romblon,

02:14Buclan Antique, Negros Island Region, Central Visayas, Southern Leyte, Zamboanga del Norte, Northern Mindanao,

02:22Dinagat Islands, Surgao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Sarangani, Davao del Sur, and Davao Oriental.

02:30Meanwhile, strong winds will also be felt in the provinces of Catanduanes, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur,

02:42Albay, Sorsogon, and Northern Samar, reaching 200 mm.

02:47Strong rains will also be felt in Batanes, Samar, Eastern Samar, Isabela, and Quezon, reaching 100-200 mm.

02:59Meanwhile, strong rains will also be felt in 50-100 mm in other parts of Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Romblon, Marinduque, and other parts of Camisayaan.

03:18Our gale warning is also high here in the Eastern Seaboard of Luzon, Southern Seaboard of Southern Luzon, and Eastern Seaboard of Visayas.

03:29We are warning our fishermen and small fishing boats not to sail while the big fishing boats are also being warned.

03:43Meanwhile, the storm Christine is expected to reach the island of Isabela or Hilagang Aurora tomorrow night or Thursday early in the morning.

03:58If we look at the whole system, aside from the Philippines, we can see a high-pressure area or a cyclonic movement of the wind in the upper part of the Philippines.

04:14The effect of the cyclone is that it cannot penetrate the high-pressure area.

04:33At present, the cyclone is still far from our land and there are still many uncertainties.

04:39The reason for the uncertainty is that the cyclone has a long way to go.

04:47If the cyclone rises, it will reach Cagayan Valley.

04:53But if it descends, it will reach Aurora or Valeo.
