00:19The Office of Civil Defense and OCD announced that they are on top of the situation in the danger brought by the Christine typhoon.

00:26In fact, the Charlie Protocol has been activated in seven regions of the country.

00:31This is the highest level of emergency preparedness of the OCD.

00:36Among the regions that are being targeted now are the Cordillera Administrative Region,

00:41Region 2, 3, 5, 8, Calabarazon, and Mimaropa, which are considered high risk due to the Christine typhoon.

00:50Under the Bravo Protocol, BARMM and Region 1, while NCR, Region 6, 7, 12, 9, 10, and Caraga Region are under the Alpha Protocol.

01:04According to the DSWD, more than 33 million individuals could be affected by the typhoon

01:12Due to the wide circulation of the typhoon, there are more areas that are in danger of flooding and landslides.

01:20The typhoon has now reached more than 21,000 barangays, according to the Mines and Geosciences Bureau.

01:27The OCD is now consulting with transport agencies to issue travel advisories,

01:33particularly in areas that are expected to be hit by the typhoon.

01:37More than 2 million DSWD family food parks are now ready, which are pre-positioned in various parts of the country.

01:45At the moment, the quick response funds of the DSWD central office is around P194 million pesos,

01:53while our field offices are around P47 million pesos.

01:59The affected residents have not yet been evacuated.

02:02We are talking to our citizens, especially those who are potentially affected by the typhoon Christine,

02:09to be more vigilant.

02:12We are listening to the advice of our local government officials, and we will continue to monitor the situation.

02:20The Philippine Army has also been alerted in response to the effects of the typhoon.

02:25According to Army Public Affairs Colonel Louis D. Maala,

02:28almost 1,000 people of the Philippine Army have been displaced,

02:32even their rescue equipment for possible search and rescue operations.

02:37For the 5th Infantry Division, they have raided 180 HADR teams composed of 801 personnel

02:46with 3 rubber boats and 142 land assets.

02:53While for the 7th Infantry Division, 2nd Infantry Division based in Southern Luzon and Central Luzon,

03:01as well as 8th Infantry Division and 9th Infantry Division,

03:05are also being placed on standby alert for the possible impact of the typhoon Christine.
