00:00When it was really cold weather, the news came on, they said people fostered dogs from
00:06homeless people because obviously they couldn't take them into any homes. So we applied and
00:12we got our first dog, Cordia. From then on we've had about six foster dogs and two of
00:19them we ended up keeping because the owner didn't want them back. Max was one of them.
00:24We had him nine months and then they went back to their owner and I think he had him
00:29a week and then he decided he didn't want them. So they came back to us, did the counsel
00:35and said they either go into kennels or would you take them back. So I said oh we'll take
00:40them back. They pay for the feed and vet fees so there's no expense for anybody taking in
00:47a foster dog in that respect. The only expense is your time. It's lovely to do. I'd recommend
00:55it for anybody with a bit of empathy and love for animals.
