(Adnkronos) - L'obiettivo dell’Organizzazione mondiale della sanità “di eradicare l'epatite C entro il 2030 deve essere perentorio. Per questo dobbiamo cercare di fare tutto quello che è necessario per prolungare l'utilizzo dei fondi, laddove ci siano stati dei risparmi sulla campagna di screening, per quelli già stanziati, ma se non bastassero dobbiamo aggiungerne di nuovi e dobbiamo allargare la platea dei soggetti a cui viene rivolto questo screening, ampliando la fascia di età”. E’ quanto affermato dalla senatrice Elisa Pirro, all’evento sulle strategie per eliminare l’epatite C che si è svolto a Roma.
