00:00Friends, we often think that are we alone in this universe or are we living somewhere
00:08else?
00:09And to know the answer to this question, scientists often send their missions in space.
00:16But if we tell you that there is a moon in our solar system on which life is being lived,
00:23will you believe us?
00:25So friends, the moon we are talking about is the moon of our largest planet in the solar
00:31system, Jupiter, which we know by the name of Europa.
00:35This planet is so habitable that it is also better known as Mars, Moon and Titan.
00:42And to know about this moon of Jupiter, NASA has also operated a research mission, which
00:49is called Clipper.
00:50Friends, NASA is going to spend $ 5 billion on this mission.
00:56We got the first picture of this moon in 1989 when the Vizor 1 and Vizor 2 spacecraft passed
01:03right next to this moon and they captured a picture of it and sent it to our earth.
01:09But friends, the special thing about this picture was that it was not like our moon in this picture.
01:15Just like there are often moons, you must have seen a lot of pictures of moons, you must
01:20have noticed that there are often holes on the moon and the reason is that most of the
01:25meteoroids come and hit it, due to which holes are formed on its surface.
01:30But in the pictures we are seeing of Europa, there are no such holes, nor is there any
01:36kind of crater on it, but there are big cross lines here, as if someone has cut this moon
01:44with his own hands.
01:46Friends, researchers say about these scratches that these are cracks and fractures on the
01:51surface of Europa and the surface of Europa is covered with ice.
01:56But the thing to think about is that how did these big cracks and fractures come on the
02:01surface of Europa?
02:02And the reason for these fractures and cracks is told to three things.
02:06First of all, it is Jupiter.
02:08Friends, we know that there is no other massive planet like Jupiter in the entire solar system
02:13And it is possible that due to being so big in size, it applies so much force on its small
02:18moon that such cracks are formed on its surface.
02:22And the second reason is tectonic movement.
02:25Friends, you must know that the crust of our earth is divided into different tectonic plates
02:30and it is possible that the crust of Europa is also divided into different frozen tectonic
02:34plates and just like our earth, it also serves in its underground liquid ocean.
02:41And the openings on this moon may have been created due to the distance of the tectonic
02:46plates.
02:47There are many people who also tell this theory wrong.
02:51Many experts say that cryovolcanoes are present here.
02:55Friends, cryovolcanoes are such volcanoes that have completely cooled down and are releasing
03:01the rest of the magma from within, such as gases, liquid water, ammonia, hydrocarbon etc.
03:09Friends, as we told you that the surface of Europa is completely covered with ice.
03:13And if any surface is completely covered with ice, then due to its dynamic activities,
03:19pressure is created inside the surface and if this pressure does not get a place to come
03:25out, then it starts tearing the surface and it comes out with cryovolcanic eruption,
03:31due to which these cracks and fractures can be formed.
03:35But friends, one thing is common here that all three explanations are based on the fact
03:41that there are warm underground oceans under the surface of this moon.
03:47And to know about all these things, NASA has launched a mission called Europa Clipper.
03:53This spacecraft will stay in the orbit of Europa, analyze it and find out if there is
03:59any alien life there or not.
04:02Friends, it was completely impossible at one time to understand the underground conditions
04:06of any planet by staying in orbit.
04:08But NASA has designed this spacecraft in such a way that it will extract all the data of
04:14this moon by staying in orbit.
04:16And to make this mission successful, NASA has installed a total of 9 instruments in
04:20it, the first of which is the Europa Imaging System and Europa Thermal Emission Imaging
04:26System, where the Europa Imaging System will take a picture of this planet and send it
04:30to us.
04:31On the other hand, the Thermal Emission Imaging System will check and tell whether the water
04:35under the Europa ice is really hot or not.
04:39In addition to this, for spectrometry and composition analysis, the Europa UVS and
04:45Mapping Imaging Spectrometer has been fitted in it, which has been designed for unique
04:49spot analysis of this surface.
04:53In addition to this, to properly integrate the object under its crust, a dedicated device
04:59has also been installed in it, whose full name is RADAR for Europa Assessment, whose
05:04job is to penetrate the ice shell and give the remaining instruments the data below it.
05:10Now the remaining instruments, which are known as Spectrometer Planetary Exploration and
05:14Surface Dust Analysis, their job is to do chemical analysis of space dust and gases
05:20and send their report to the earth.
05:24In addition, a metallic plate has also been installed in it to confirm the aliens here,
05:29in which the picturization of a total of 103 sound waves is encrypted.
05:34And this 103 sound wave is actually the translated pronunciation of water in 103 different languages.
05:41Friends, for your information, on October 10, 2024, this spacecraft was launched in the
05:47orbit of Europa.
05:49There are some other reasons to call Europa a habitable planet.
05:53The first of which is the atmosphere, where on the one hand Titan and Europa have a good
05:58atmosphere, while on the other hand our Earth's moon and Mars do not have this atmosphere.
06:04And if we want to go here, then we will need an atmosphere first.
06:09In addition, if we compare these two planets in the atmosphere, then we will find that
06:16Europa is much better than Titan, because in the atmosphere of Titan, 95% nitrogen
06:22and 5% methane gas are present.
06:25On the other hand, the atmosphere of Europa is made up of only oxygen.
06:30That is, we can go here and breathe very easily.
06:34If we talk about the magnetic field, then Titan has no magnetic field of its own.
06:40On the other hand, Europa has its own strong magnetic field.
06:44In addition, there is also a factor here that our traveling cost will be less to go to Europa
06:50because Europa is 628 million kilometers away from our Earth.
06:55On the other hand, the distance of Titan is 1.2 billion kilometers from our Earth,
07:00which is double that of Europa.
07:02Now, the time it will take us to reach Saturn, our spacecraft will go back to Europa.
07:09Because of this, our time will be saved and expenses too.
07:12That is, in every matter, Europa is the best of all the other planets.
07:16In addition, scientists say that underwater life can also happen here
07:20because the liquid water under the crust of Europa is hot.
07:25Because of this, such conditions must have been created there as well,
07:28as it was created on our Earth at one time.
07:31In addition, where all other habitable celestial objects,
07:34where solar radiation becomes a big challenge for life,
07:38there is warm water under the crust of the ocean on Europa.
07:42Because of this, even if any cosmic radiation reaches here,
07:45it will not affect the microorganisms living here.
07:50Friends, this is the reason why NASA has launched its mission on Europa.
07:55And it is estimated that by 2030,
07:58NASA's Kepler spacecraft will reach the orbit of Europa
08:02and tell us everything about this moon.
08:05Friends, what do you think about this?
08:07Can life exist on any planet?
08:09Do comment and let us know.
