00:00Well the investigation into Liam Payne's death has a lot of people talking about a term or drug that we hadn't heard about previously
00:08pink cocaine
00:10also called Cristal in in Argentina and it is a
00:15Combination of obviously cocaine with several other drugs including ketamine and MDMA which is
00:22ecstasy or molly
00:24and
00:25There people have said that this can cause all sorts of hallucinations nation, which kind of explains
00:32Why that staffer in the lobby of the hotel was so alarmed when he?
00:38Observed Liam and called 9-1-1 right and he was in the balcony and mentioned the fact that he'd been in and out of consciousness
00:46What is this pink cocaine really about?
00:50Lamar Odom
00:51Someone who obviously, you know has had a severe issues with addiction
00:57Drug abuse in fact was near death. He is now running as we've told you several times
01:02He is now running a very successful rehab clinics
01:06So we got him out here in LA and asked him about this drug
01:10And and the effects of it. This is what he had to say drugs could cause you to
01:16Hallucinate yeah, and if he was in a hallucination state and who knows what would happen has that happened to you? Have you experienced that?
01:28Have you ever gotten a sense of paranoia or anything like chasing you? Yeah. Oh, yeah, could you?
01:34Especially with you know with the Unforbidden, which is correct. Uh-huh
01:40Could you sort of describe
01:43That state of mind that you're in when you're I mean if you're hearing voices then, you know, it's hard to escape
01:48Yeah, those voices. So God forbid if those voices told him to do something that all led to his fate. Yeah
01:56That is the thing. I don't know how they ever
01:58Can understand that unless they have video and we haven't heard this from police
02:03Of what he actually did on the balcony now that they presumably they say he jumped. Yeah, so
02:10Either they have eyewitness accounts or they have video
02:13what we don't know is
02:15why I mean was this just a hallucinogenic kind of thing where he was out of his head and
02:23And it would seem more likely just because he would had so many drugs in him
02:27Yeah
02:28that you know
02:29You can't make conscious decisions and Lamar had said to that
02:33Though he has experience with experience with hallucinating while under the influence
02:38He said that he was able to separate those
02:41Those thoughts and those voices from reality
02:46But obviously there could be a situation like you guys said where Liam was not able to do that and that totally took over and took
02:53Control what we do know is that Liam was telling people back in summertime that he was sober
03:00So this doesn't seem to be and people around him said he you know was always on time
03:05For whatever meeting he would have and it seemed like he was together so
03:09For this news to come out in in this fashion where we're hearing all the drugs that were allegedly in his system
03:15It's so shocking to people around him that maybe had worked with him this year. I
03:20Hear this all the time. Yeah, I mean, I want to say one thing that people who are sober
03:27when they fall off the wagon many times they
03:31You don't gradually go back to where you were
03:34It's actually often worse than it was at its worst before you become sober over the years
03:40We've heard this about people who were sober and then they have that. Yeah that when they fall and they fall it is
03:48It's a horrible. Yeah. Hi. My name is Chris Jones from Tampa, Florida
03:52And yeah, I think I'm with Lamar Odom's comment about Liam hearing voices
03:56I think it really just reminds us all that to remember that people can really struggle with
04:01Use of substance and that is really important to give them empathy and sympathy and really just support them during this difficult time
04:07They're challenging with it is as they say is one day at a time when you are for the rest of your life. Yeah
