00:00We have closely monitored the local government of Bulacan and its rivers.
00:04If it continues to rain, the water may overflow, which could be the cause of flooding in some areas.

00:17As of now, we are experiencing moderate to heavy rainfall in Bulacan.
00:22I am here in Calintit and even though it continues to rain, the area is not flooded.
00:27In Barangay Palimbang, it is one of the first areas to experience heavy rainfall in Calintit.
00:32But if it continues to rain for the next few hours, the level of water in the river may increase
00:38because of the high tide.
00:40Bulacan is experiencing a moderate to heavy rainfall.
00:43This means that it may overflow in low-lying areas and areas near the river.
00:49Signal number 2 in the north of Bulacan is the Doña Remedios Trinidad, San Miguel and San Ildefonso.
00:56This is signal number 1 in other parts of Bulacan.
01:00As for the dam, according to the Bulacan Provincial Government,
01:05water was released from the Bustos Dam before the Christine Flood hit the land.
01:12The local government of Bulacan has assured a partial opening of the Bustos Dam
01:17so that the water in the dam will not overflow at the same time
01:20even if some parts of the province are flooded due to the continuous rain.
01:26The Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office remains alert and monitored,
01:32especially in areas prone to floods such as Calumpit.
