00:00The Knicks actually shot the ball pretty well, like the Knicks shooting percentage was sky
00:07high, but you can't, you can't keep up and like, that's the thing, whether we like it
00:12or don't like it, it is what it is.
00:14And I'm not a massive fan of it, but it's similar to home runs and launch angles and
00:19all this stuff in baseball.
00:21You can't trade two for threes in a modern NBA.
00:25It just is what it is.
00:26Maybe one day it'll change and somehow, you know, the style will change and it'll go back
00:31to a more physical brand of basketball.
00:34But like you, like if you're the New York Knicks, all right, you score 109 points, you
00:39score 109 points in an NBA game, you're supposed to be, you're supposed to win the game.
00:43And or yeah, we lost like 110-109, right?
00:47But you score 109, but the other team, like you're trading twos for threes, the math doesn't
00:52add up at the end of the game.
00:55And you know, that's what makes the Boston Celtics just so damn dangerous because they're
00:59actually good players, right?
01:01Some teams are bad and they'll just shoot a bunch of threes and hope for the best.
01:04And it's kind of the equalizer.
01:07But Boston have a bunch of good players shooting threes, right?
01:10They also mix in a little bit of defense and it's not an easy thing to deal with in a modern
01:15NBA.
01:16The Celtics are the real deal.
01:17They cover the number.
