00:00This originally started from working from home. I have 5 dogs and I was trying to find
00:08a way of sustainability for making sure that their health was my first priority. So it
00:14started from me taking care of my own dogs and then obviously we started making our own
00:19homemade dog treats and come in a distributor of Billy Bellows and then we started travelling
00:26around to events in the local area trying to get brand awareness and that's led us
00:31now to the shop. We decided that BexHeal would really benefit from this, that there isn't
00:37anything in the area and obviously we have a wealth of dogs in the area so we hoped that
00:42that would help with sustainability for their dogs and making sure that their health was
00:46taken care of. We're all about sustainability, there are lots of pet shops around but I wanted
00:51to be a bit different where we also focused on the environment as well so we're going
00:55to be stocking lots of things that are recycled from fishing nets, bamboo, so we're going
01:03to be slightly different in what we offer but also about sustainability where people
01:07and our customers can actually afford to buy these things because lots of things that when
01:13you start saying environmentally friendly have a high price tag to that but we wanted
01:17to make it feasible and cost effective to the people in the area and that's what we
01:22believe we're going to be able to offer. Our homemade dog treats are 100% healthy, there's
01:28no additives, nothing. Whatever meat we say is in there, it's 98% of that meat and they're
01:35really healthy for your dogs rather than say another brand that you can get off the shelf.
01:40Ours are made fresh and they're frozen and then you're able to give them to your dogs
01:44for a better coat, vitality and generally just feeling so much better with the dog where
01:50they're not given all the additives that are added into these treats. We are number
01:5523 Sackfield Road in Bexhill and we are opening this Saturday at 10 o'clock. We'd love everybody
02:01in the area to come and support us and bring your dogs, everyone is more than welcome,
02:06we're going to have lots of treats for people to taste, goodie bags, yeah we'd like everybody
02:12to come. Our normal opening hours will be 10am-4pm Monday to Friday and on a Saturday
02:18it will be 9am-3pm.
