00:00Because of the expected stronger storm Christine, their resident in Ilocos Norte had a preemptive evacuation.

00:08And live from the town of San Nicolas, we have the first news, JP Soriano. JP, how is the situation there?

00:18Ivan, there is a strong wind and rainy weather here in a large part of the province of Ilocos Norte where we are right now.

00:26But Ivan, according to the local officials, this is not the expected storm or the strongest effect of the wind and rainy weather.

00:35And it is possible that this will be stronger later or tomorrow before the storm Christine goes out to the West Philippine Sea.

00:44Ivan, that is if the movement of the storm will not change.

00:47Despite not feeling the full effect of the storm Christine in Ilocos Norte, there was already a preemptive evacuation in several barangays of several towns in the province since yesterday.

00:56Like more than 100 families who are residents of Barangay Casilian in the town of Bacara.

01:01And because the barangay is often flooded when it rains continuously and there is a storm, they were first moved to the evacuation center.

01:10There are 21 municipalities and 2 towns here in the province of Ilocos Norte that are now alert to the effects of the storm Christine tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.
