00:00Thank you Mr. Speaker. I'm sure the Minister is aware of the tragic case of Sarah Charif
00:05in my constituency in Woking. What they might not be aware is when Sarah's family fled Woking
00:10to Pakistan, they took Sarah's two siblings with them. They did not return, those siblings
00:16did not return when the parents returned to stand trial. Will he agree to write and raise
00:22with the Pakistani government that they either vouch for the siblings' safety or that those
00:26children should be returned to the UK? Thank you Mr. Speaker. I'd like to assure the House
00:33that the safety and well-being of British children overseas, which appears to be the
00:38situation in this case, is of utmost concern to the whole government and me as the Minister
00:42for Consular Affairs. I'll write and meet with the Member if that's useful to understand
00:47the case and what we can best do to support these children.
