Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Kor Ming said his ministry had seen an increase of 5.08% or RM287.4mil in its Budget 2025 allocations this year, which was RM5.934 compared to last year’s RM5.647bil.

He said that 66% of the Housing and Local Government Ministry allocations would be used for development expenses while 34% would be used for operational costs.

00:30I am very grateful because I have managed to obtain additional demands.
00:35That is, the total number of demands that will be obtained by the Ministry is as high as 5.934 billion in 2025 spending.
00:47This indicates an increase of two consecutive years that is proud.
00:51That is as much as 5.08% compared to 2024.
00:58So this amount, 66% is spending for development.

02:17Rp150 million out of the Rp200 million that I have announced,
02:22will be used starting today.
02:26In the next two months,
02:29Rp150 million will be spent by the PBT
02:34in the Hogspot flood area.
02:36So that we are ready
02:39to deal with the flood that will happen starting this November.
