00:00The DSWD continues to share aid to those affected by the Christine earthquake
00:05and their National Relief Operations Center's supply is probably sufficient.
00:09The details are reported by Jimeline Doctolero of PIA-NCR.
00:16The DSWD assured that their National Relief Operations Center or NROC
00:22has sufficient family food packs for our countrymen affected by the Christine earthquake.
00:27More than 30,000 family food packs have been sent to various regions in Luzon
00:33that have experienced the impact of heavy rainfall.
00:37The Bicol Region in particular received 11,000 food packs yesterday,
00:433,900 in the Cagayan Valley Region, and 1,800 in Mimaropa.
00:50At present, additional 14,000 family food packs will be sent to the Bicol Region
00:58and there are more than 186,000 family food packs in the NROC
01:04that are ready to be sent if needed.
01:09The DSWD Secretary Rex Cachalian first announced
01:13that the stockpile of food packs in their field offices
01:17is sufficient and can meet the needs of our countrymen in need.
01:23Each food pack contains 6 kilos of rice, 10 cans, and 10 sachets of coffee.
01:29It will last for 2 to 3 days in a family of 5.
01:35According to the DSWD, they will continue repacking
01:39with a daily target of 20,000 family food packs.
