00:00Again, a lot at stake tonight on Thursday night football to kick off week number eight. It is a
00:06week eight game between the Rams and the Vikings. Minnesota is five and one, their first loss of the
00:11season just a Sunday ago in a divisional duel against the Lions. The Rams are a two and four
00:19football team, a victory last week out of the by against the Las Vegas Raiders. Did not cover
00:25though as a touchdown favorite inside SoFi Stadium. But Donnie, the reason there is so much at stake
00:31for Minnesota, you're trying to prove you're the ilk of the five and O team and not a team that
00:36suffers two consecutive losses, especially here as a favorite, albeit on the road, short week
00:43Thursday night football game. But more importantly for the Rams, if you want to keep the band
00:47together, if Matthew Stafford still wants to be having his morning coffee with Cooper Cup and
00:53having their podcast together and throwing footballs to one another, you more than likely
00:58have to win tonight, not just cover, but win tonight. There has been so much speculation,
01:02reporting and rumors around the Rams ahead of the NFL trade deadline. That's in just about a week
01:08and a half. Could Matthew Stafford be on the move? Could Cooper Cup be treated? We got reports that
01:14Cup was going to end up in KC like the Andre Hopkins did yesterday. If they had been able to
01:20negotiate a draft pick or two. So Donnie, when we talk about Cup and Stafford tonight, knowing the
01:28importance of this Thursday night game, what do you expect production wise? I expect pretty good
01:33production, but also we're dealing with a injured wide receiver coming back and saying, all right,
01:38I'm going to be healthy is going to still be in tune with Matthew Stafford. The expectations,
01:41they're professionals, they've had great success in the past, and they should be okay. But I'm
01:44always leery of guys coming off for injuries and how much that usage rate is actually going to be.
01:49But the bigger story is like when I was surfing around yesterday, trying to get some information
01:54and see the trending topics, whereas Matthew Stafford might be on the move. And I was quite
01:58shocked to actually see that. I wouldn't be surprised if Cooper Cups on the move or some
02:02other players, but the quarterback, because you have to have partners to go along with it, where
02:06it makes sense. And like some of the news stories, like I even like big following accounts, like
02:10Matthew Stafford going to Minnesota, like it didn't even make any sense. If he was on the trade
02:15block, Ben, where is he actually going? That makes sense. Who needs a quarterback now and can
02:21take on? Cause it's like, oh, well they could just go to Miami, but Miami is too. A tag about locked
02:25up and they're expecting to come back in a couple of weeks. Like if you go to Minnesota, that means
02:29you're admitting Sam Donald was undefeated, but he's a terrible quarterback and you take Matthew
02:33Stafford on. So then JJ McCarthy just wrapped in the first round is obsolete next year. Like
02:38I can't quite figure out like if he's on the block, who's actually taking them.
