00:00A strategic role in the economic and social fabric of the country is that of the industries
00:09adherent to Centromarca, among the most important active in the food, beverages and chemical sectors
00:15confirmed by the evidence of the study La Marca crea valore per l'Italia,
00:20written by the thesis strategist consultant and presented in Rome at the American Center for Studies,
00:26which attests that, as in 2023, such industries have generated a shared value of 87.2 billion euros,
00:35with a growth of 19% compared to the 73 billion found in 2019.
00:40These are the data that the research of Altesis has just communicated to us,
00:46we are talking about a value of the supply chain, therefore fallen both on companies,
00:51but also on our agricultural world, on the world of logistics, on the world of transformation and distribution,
00:59and once again on those people who work within the system of Mondomarca.
01:06Why? Because when we do the analysis, and this is also told to us by the study of Altesis,
01:11on the growth of wages from 2019 to 2023,
01:16it is a moment in which evidently the country has suffered from a significant increase in inflation,
01:22but it has been strongly counterbalanced by a growth of more than 17%.
01:28This represents a positive development model.
01:32More than 87 billion euros of shared value generated in 2023
01:37is an amount equivalent to more than 4% of the Italian GDP
01:41and that in the entire sector involves more than a million shareholders.
01:44It is also important to highlight the contribution that is given in terms of tax revenue,
01:50about 27 billion, a significant amount of income for our country,
01:58and a 1 to 3 ratio between the value created by the production phase,
02:04therefore from the companies associated with Centromarca,
02:07and the shared value created overall on the supply chain.
02:12So a significant contribution to the growth of the country,
02:17in particular if we take into account that this 2023 edition shows an increase of about 17%
02:25compared to the same analysis made in 2019, the last year before Covid.
02:32In support of the companies of Marca, the government, which is active with measures of decontribution, but not only.
02:38On the other hand, we are making investments in public companies,
02:42public companies, Saci and Simest in particular,
02:44through which there can be guarantees for Italian companies
02:52that intend to invest abroad in particularly difficult markets.
02:57And this is the possibility of these companies to put a flag, the tricolour,
03:04that arrives in these countries.
03:07We must always remember that the great Italian brands are a ticket to visit for all of us,
03:12and therefore, let's say, for Italians it is a little easier to approach new markets
03:17if they are anticipated by our brands, which normally bring quality, creativity,
03:23and are, let's say, certainly world diamonds.
