00:00Hello, we're here at Mowbray Park for the return of the Southern Festival of Light.
00:08We've been invited to come down for the preview, photo opens for the public tomorrow, so come
00:13with us and we'll have a look and see what we think.
00:30So as you can see, there's a good selection of food and drink on offer.
00:40I must admit I've got tea at home but the salt and pepper chicken chips are proving
00:45very tempting.
00:46Oh, this must be the Silent Disco.
01:14So that was the Silent Disco.
01:15As I'm sure you could tell, that was Katy Perry's Firework, interpreted through the
01:19medium of modern dance.
01:33So what do we think?
01:37Full disclosure, I'm still not entirely sure about the decision to move from Roker Park
01:40to Mowbray.
01:42I think Roker Park probably ages it in terms of the location, but I can see the sense of
01:47coming here certainly.
01:48It's easy to park, you don't have to close all the roads and it's much better in terms
01:52of economic benefit to the city.
01:54Hopefully people who come here will go into town, try some of the cafes, clubs, restaurants,
02:00bars.
02:01All in all, it seems a bit more ambitious this year, there's a bit more to it.
02:06It's really good and it's only a fiver for adults and kids, one to two is a free.
02:12So get yourself down, book your tickets on www.sunderland.co.uk forward slash FOL and
02:20we'll see you here.
