00:00When somebody brings something as vulnerable as some of these lines, you know, the thing
00:06I love about Head and Heart is one of the lines, feeling something equals being alive,
00:10essentially feeling something, it was being alive, which is so indicative of this band,
00:15right?
00:16And, um, when somebody brings something that's that vulnerable to the table, who around you
00:21goes, Whoa, what is going on with you?
00:25How did you get that?
00:26I think we're used to it at this point, so it's, it's never comes off as a big shock.
00:34You know, I think the more vulnerable we hear, like from songwriters, the more, yeah, exactly.
00:40Yeah.
00:41Totally.
00:42Like it, when you can latch onto something lyrically, it gives you like a springboard
00:46musically to, from a drum perspective, drummer's perspective, you know, if I hear something
00:50that excites me, it gives me the energy to like, follow that thread, you know, I like
00:56the, I was gonna say like, I feel like the more heavy, the lyric, the less it gets talked
01:02about.
01:03Like, if something comes in, that's like, Oh, like hits you, then there's no conversation
01:09that needs to be, that needs to happen.
01:11Um, I feel like sometimes when there's like a vague lyric and everyone's like, well, I
01:15think this and I think that, but when something comes in super heavy, no one needs to talk
01:21about it.
01:22It just, it, it hits you and you kind of just respect it.
01:25You don't try to change any lyric like that.
01:26If you know it's something deep or heavy, you let it be what it is and move forward
01:31and just try to make the song as good as possible.
01:34I was going to make a joke about voting, but everybody's saying something so, it's so powerful
01:38that I don't want to mess it up.
01:39And it's true.
01:40I agree with everything, what everybody's saying.
