00:00Yeah, I think so, man. I think, uh, has some guys getting open, catching the ball, making
00:14plays. Um, I felt like we were doing a good job of once we get into a drought, establishing
00:20drives and stay on the field. I did some good things on third down. Um, you know, now it's
00:26kind of looking at those three now. It's the quick drives. You know, how do we sustain?
00:30How do we just be more consistent there? We have to switch to a different center that
00:35you haven't worked a lot with in the middle of the game. How does that work with JPJ and
00:41how did it go? No, it was great, man. He stepped in in a position that he hadn't done much
00:45for us this year, which can be uncomfortable, especially for a young guy. He stepped in
00:49and did a great job. We're getting a lot of work today on snaps, just getting more comfortable
00:54there, getting comfortable with him being the guy making the calls. But he's done a
00:58great job. He's super smart guys locked in, so I feel really good about him. There's always
01:04this great debate. Was it the play call or was it the execution specifically in the first
01:09goals inside the rounds five and then last week against the Chiefs? When you look at
01:13the tape, what is what are you? What are you seeing in terms of where kind of the breakdowns
01:19are? Yeah, I mean, I think most plays you have a chance. You know, if you do it, you
01:24do it right. Guys can make it right on most plays, you know, and I think there's opportunities
01:29there to do it and we didn't do it. Um, you know, so at the end of the day, we gotta look
01:34at ourselves. Everybody's got to see how could I do my job better? And I think we're doing
01:39that. I feel good about, you know, how we're approaching this week. The attitude of the
01:42guys, attitude of the coaches. I think everybody's coming in, putting their work, work out on
01:47and ready to get back after. What do you see from the Bengals defense known for some
01:53pressure on quarterbacks? Yeah, they pressure a good bit, man. They do a good job of it.
01:57A couple of their DBs are good. Hendrickson's great off the edge. Uh, so, you know, you
02:01gotta be aware. You gotta have a plan for how they attack you like that. Um, so yeah.
02:07You have a couple of rookies starting on the defensive line. What are your impressions
02:11of those guys so far and the growth they've shown? No, they've done a great job, man.
02:15Um, we throw a lot at them. Like, it's not easy what we're doing in the running game
02:19and the pass game, but they're handling it really well. Uh, stepped in, played some really
02:24good players, you know, over this stretch of games and done well. Uh, maintain, like,
02:28confidence, a little bit of swagger. That's what I feel really good about them moving
02:32forward is they have that confidence and that belief. And I think the line's still getting
02:35tighter, man. I think we've got a lot of different combinations and guys in there. And, uh, the
02:39communication's really starting to get, get tighter. You had a really successful first
02:44half against Baltimore, or second half against Baltimore. Did you feel, from start to finish,
02:48this last week was your best game, most consistent game? Uh, I don't know, man. It's, uh, hard
02:53to say. Um, felt good. Felt like, you know, it was giving us a chance on most plays. Um,
02:59putting the ball in play, letting our guys go to work, uh, I think is a good thing for
03:03us. And just managing, keeping us in, um, you know, if we're throwing it on second and
03:07long, keeping us in good third downs, uh, I think was big for us. Last week against
03:12the Chiefs, Antonio said it's something they started doing in the second half was, was
03:15listened to a lot more often. And as a quarterback, is that something, kind of, to pick up more
03:19on, like, pre-snap? Is there, were there certain tells, or was it something where they were
03:22disguising until after the season? Yeah, they did a good job disguising, man. That's kind
03:25of their M.O. Um, and a lot of times you just gotta play hot, you know, and just understand
03:30that they're gonna get there and understand where your quick answers are. Um, I thought,
03:34I thought we did a good job of that sometimes. Sometimes we didn't, you know. So, again,
03:38the challenge is consistency there. When you guys can't run the ball, you're averaging
03:42less than two yards a carry. How much more pressure do you feel in terms of having to
03:45make a play, extend a play? Uh, I don't know, man. I think, uh, you know, as you do that,
03:50some of those quick completions kind of help supplement that run game on first, second
03:54down. Uh, I mean, at the end of the day, it's like, how do you move the chains? How do you
03:58get yourself in good third downs? So, whatever that looks like, you know, whether, you know,
04:02we run it and we get to the second and nine, then we gotta throw it to make it up, vice
04:05versa. Like, you gotta make it up one way or another and, uh, just put ourselves in
04:09good positions. When you're saying throwing a lot at the offensive line, in what way?
04:15Is that the communication, like on the blitzes, or how does that, what exactly are we talking
04:21about? Yeah, a little bit. Um, you know, I think we do some different things in protection,
04:25um, where those guys have to be tied in. And, I mean, I think that's every offense. You
04:29know, that's, like, the nature of the offensive line play. It's all communication. Like, those
04:33guys really have to understand, like, how the right side makes their point affects all
04:37the way how the left tackle is setting there. So, like, just them being tied in is, uh,
04:41huge, man. And, um, I think that's something we've gotten consistently better at. Um, yeah.
04:47Gardner, how great was it to have Kobe back out there in the office?
04:51It's huge, man. Um, love having Kobe. He's obviously a great player, but his, uh, his
04:55energy out there really helps us, man. He's, uh, he's an electric guy. He talks his noise.
05:00It really helps, you know. Uh, and brings a lot of swagger to, uh, to our team, man.
05:04So, really happy to have him back.
05:08You a big Halloween guy?
05:10I don't guess so, no.
