Additional services are being brought in to support a school community in Melbourne after the death of one of its students on school grounds on Tuesday. 11-year-old Jack Davey died after a car crashed into a fence at Auburn South Primary School, injuring four other students.

00:09seen play out since that horror crash on Tuesday afternoon, which left 11-year-old Jack Davey
00:15dead and four other students at the schools with injuries in hospital.
00:20We heard from Monash Health this morning that two of those children had now been discharged.
00:25They've since corrected that.
00:27One of the children has been discharged.
00:29The other remains in a stable condition in hospital.
00:32Two of the other injured children were taken to Royal Children's Hospital.
00:35They remain in stable conditions as well there.
00:39So some good news.

00:47on Tuesday afternoon.
00:48And, of course, yesterday we saw so much support sent to the school for staff and students.
00:54We've had dozens of teachers from neighbouring schools along with counsellors and chaplaincy
00:58services.
00:59Much of that remaining in place today.
01:01And extra support sent as well.
01:03A new community support hub has opened at Anderson Park, just around the corner from
01:08the primary school.
01:10That's being run by the council and the Red Cross and is available to anyone who feels
01:14like they need support given the horror of the tragedy that took place on Tuesday.
01:22The investigation into exactly what happened continues.
01:25The 40-year-old driver of the car, who is believed to have been performing a U-turn
01:29at the time of the accident, was arrested and then released pending further inquiries.
01:34Police say there are no further updates at this stage as those investigations continue.
