00:00When it comes to the Falcons and I guess maybe the NFC South in general, we've had a lot
00:21of discussions from, you know, how bad is this division going to be to could they get
00:26multiple playoff teams in there?
00:28And the Falcons are in control of that division with a 4-0 record.
00:31So I guess my first question is, are the Falcons good?
00:36You know, I kind of think they might be.
00:38And for me, like one of the big things is is for a couple of years now, especially I
00:44don't play fantasy, but, you know, other, you know, friends of mine and family members
00:48do.
00:49And so, you know, I always a big on Kyle Pitts and Bijan Robinson.
00:53And so obviously they're both very good players, but you're kind of like, I just always looked
00:57at it as, okay, eventually this is going to click.
00:59When you have two weapons like that, eventually you're going to have some success.
01:02And it's hard to like Kyle Pitts now, you know, it's hard to blame him.
01:06You have to have the quarterback to throw you the ball.
01:08And so this is the best quarterback he's had in his NFL career.
01:10And so I think that helps.
01:12I think that if you look at the way their offense is, that it's formidable.
01:17And yeah, I think that, I don't know, I think the Falcons are probably what they should
01:22be.
01:24I don't think they were as bad as they were these last few years.
01:27Now maybe that goes to quarterback play and you can say Kirk Cousins isn't a guy that's
01:31going to get that team to the Superbowl, but he is still a good quarterback.
01:34And so, no, I think, I think they're a really good opponent.
01:37I think that they will end up beating the Cowboys on Sunday.
01:40On the, on the Cowboys side of things, when did you hear that you did?
01:44You heard it, Mike?
01:45No, I frowned and Mike called you a hater.
01:49But it's okay.
01:50He's close to, he's close to it all.
01:51John, when it, when it comes to what the Cowboys are doing defensively, the turnover numbers
01:57are down a lot.
01:58Do you have, do you have an idea of what's changed there?
02:02I'll tell you what, you know, you, you have ideas, you watch it, you see different things,
02:07you have your own thoughts, but it's, it's always good to have some, you know, confirmation
02:13from people that are closer to it than you are.
02:16I don't think I've ever heard Trayvon dig more candid and open about anything than he
02:22was yesterday when he talked about that, because Trayvon isn't generally someone that really
02:27goes super in-depth, you know, responding to questions.
02:31I'm sure if you told him that he never had to talk to reporters again, he would be just
02:35fine with it.
02:37But I will say that the way he talks about the changes on defense and how, you know,
02:42I think we all knew watching the Dan Quinn defense, it was a very aggressive, you know,
02:47man, players were able to have a little, you know, you hear that term all the time now
02:51in the NFL, vision defense, you're able to keep, you know, your vision on the quarterback.
02:55And it sounds like with this defense, you know, there's still a transition period that
02:59these guys are still adjusting to.
03:02And the thing that, that I think of when I hear that is, you have a first year coaching
03:07staff that isn't signed beyond, you know, defense coordinator that's not signed behind
03:10this year.
03:11Like, it's a tough time to like switch something up like that.
03:14And it sounds like, you know, we've seen the growing pains, but I think that's a big part
03:19of it is that they were going to make this change on defense.
03:22And because of that, there were going to be growing pains that came with it.
03:25And we're seeing those.
03:26And the problem that you run into is if it does start clicking for them, it might be
03:31too late on the season.
