00:00Let's bring on Dallas Cowboys Executive Vice President Stephen Jones.
00:19Good afternoon, sir.
00:20Good afternoon, guys.
00:21How are you doing?
00:23We're doing great.
00:24Was this the best football weekend for you with the Cowboys winning and the crazy ending
00:29to the Highland Park-Denton-Ryan game?
00:31How football-happy are you right now?
00:33Well, it all went our way, which is a good thing.
00:39Our scouts went out and played a heck of a game.
00:41They deserved to win that game, and a kicker came through for them, and then, of course,
00:46the Cowboys, I thought, went out, and other than a really rough 45 seconds at the end
00:51of the first half, I thought we played about as good a football as we've probably played
00:57all year.
00:58You'll probably have to censor it, but what went through your head during that rough 45
01:04seconds at the end of the first half?
01:06Oh, it was kind of not shocking based on how our season's gone with our challenges with
01:14injuries and other things along the way, so it kind of said, shit, this game's falling
01:21right in line with what can go wrong, will go wrong, but my hat's off to Mike.
01:26He went in, got them going at halftime, and, of course, the third quarter before we went
01:32on this run has been a rough quarter for us, and I thought we played as good a third quarter
01:37as we had all year and really answered the bell in terms of the adversity there at that
01:43last 45 seconds, but it was kind of a jaw-dropper to not get any points there at the end but
01:52then turn around and give up a huge play to end the half, but again, my hat's off to
01:58both sides of the ball that came out and played a dominant third quarter and really took control
02:04of the game.
