Janey Godley's daughter confirms her mother's death

00:00Hello friends. My mum, Jenny Godley, died this morning at about 7. She was with friends

00:08and family and I wanted to tell you face to face because it felt very much what she would

00:13have wanted. She went peacefully and I want to say a big thank you to all the staff at

00:21the Prince and Princess of Wales Hospice and a big thank you to mum's found family who

00:28were around her throughout these last horrible days. My auntie Elaine, my auntie Monica,

00:35Shirley, Giovanna, Tony Kelly, my daddy, Honey, Julia Sutherland. Thank you so much for being

00:45there and for making a very, very scary moment peaceful and a nice transition. And I want

00:53to thank all of you for all of your kindness and your support and I believe in my heart

00:58of hearts that she felt every bit of love you sent to her and I think it kept her going.

01:05I think it genuinely, we got her longer because of all of the support and the love in the
