00:12Lance Corporal Taufik Ismail pleaded guilty in the Kuala Lumpur Magistrate's Court after
00:17the charge was read out before Magistrate Farah Nabi Haddad.
00:24The 32-year-old is accused of causing hurt to deaf e-hailing driver Ong In Keong at the
00:30lobby of the St. Regis Hotel in Brickfields, Kuala Lumpur on May 28.
00:38He was charged under Section 323, which carries a penalty of up to a year in prison, a maximum
00:44RM2,000 fine, or both upon conviction.
00:50He will be jailed for 20 days if he fails to settle the fine.
