00:00The Saints have fired Dennis Allen, so when you look at that through the Chicago prism,
00:05obviously you know how it works, Brad. You're dealing with these comments and questions as well.
00:10How close are the Bears to making the decision or having a conversation about firing their own
00:14coach in season? Yeah, you know, I don't know. As you know, Dave, the Bears in their history
00:23have not made an in-season change with the head coach. I sincerely doubt that such a move would
00:34create a lot of difference at this point. Although I wrote this morning, guys,
00:40I think they've got to look long and hard at what they're doing with Shane Waldron and consider
00:44a new play caller on offense because that thing is broken. That was a pedestrian defense that the
00:56Bears went against yesterday with one difference maker and a guy that's at the third level in
01:02safety. Buda Baker, defense that's really struggled to rush the passer this season,
01:10the defense that was missing its top cornerback yesterday and Sean Murphy bunting the three guys
01:16they rolled out there. Garrett Williams was a third round pick a year ago. Katrell Clark was
01:25a sixth round pick a year ago and Starling Thomas entered the league, I believe, a year ago or two
01:30years ago as an undrafted player. So the Bears have got all this skill position talent. We've
01:37talked about it since March, April. Hey, what's this going to look like with the young quarterback
01:46and they can't consistently get the ball to D.J. Moore. They've dressed up Colt Comette
01:53for Halloween as a ghost. He's got one target in the last two games. Roma Dunzey makes one big play
02:02on blown coverage. They're not running the ball consistently. They didn't have an identity with
02:11Shane Waldron at the beginning of the season. I don't think he has a real presence in front of
02:17the players.
