00:00It's easy to go back and look at a Mark Trestman field goal decision at Minnesota
00:06and Matt Nagy against the Chargers. I mean, those weren't even factors when those guys were fired,
00:13right? And when Matt Eberfluss is done at Halas Hall, this isn't going to be a factor.
00:19More problematic from a coaching standpoint yesterday to me was the complete lack of a
00:28pass rush and I wish I had gotten into that in my column this morning. I didn't. Jordan Love
00:37had two quarterback hits on him the entire game. There were way too many times when he
00:44was back in the pocket and just had all day. They had a really poor breakdown up front on
00:54the scramble where Love, who's not even close to 100%, was able to get inside the one-yard line.
01:02He gained, what, 13 yards, I think, on that play. Almost got the ball in the end zone.
01:08The defense kind of eroding here. The pass rush non-existent. Zach Tom, the Packers right tackle,
01:18that guy looks like a Pro Bowl player going against Montez Sweat and Montez might not be
01:23at 100% right now. That's a bigger coaching problem to me than talking about the decision to
01:32not run another player to, again, the blocking is a bigger thing. It's sport to pile on Eberfluss
01:41right now. Not pile on. It's point of finger. It's in my direction. You're right. It's not
01:46piling on, but it's sport to pick something out and just hammer away.
01:52There were bigger issues yesterday if you want to talk about a coaching standpoint.
