00:00The Department of Education, DEPED, has successfully implemented the Dynamic Learning Program this month.

00:06Its goal is to support the continuation of education in the schools in the area of Baguio-Cristin and Leon.

00:21The Department of Education is working hard to catch up with the missing classes,

00:27as well as those who crossed the calamity.

00:29According to DEPED, more than 20 days have passed since the recent entry in Metro Manila,

00:35regions of Ilocos, Cagayan, Nimaropa, and Calabarzon due to Hurricane Julián, Cristin, and Leon.

00:43Because of that, DEPED allowed the implementation of make-up classes.

00:47The Department of Education will deploy the Dynamic Learning Program this month.

00:51According to the Directive of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr.,

00:55its goal is to continue education in the schools in the area of Baguio

01:00and to make learning practices resilient and adaptable in spite of calamity or emergency.

01:07The learning materials provided are simple, targeted, and adaptable,

01:12focused on teaching, writing, problem-solving, and critical thinking of children.

01:18At the same time, DEPED is preparing the upcoming Program for International Student Assessment.

01:25This is a targeted study that aims to measure the happiness and knowledge of 15-year-old students around the world.

01:36In 2022, the Philippines was in the bottom 10 in 81 countries that were affected by the pandemic.

01:42That's why DEPED is targeting critical analysis of children,

01:46aside from teaching mathematics and science.
