A truck driver has been charged over a crash which claimed the lives of two women on South Australia’s Fleurieu Peninsula. Seven others, including two children, were injured in the crash at wattle flat yesterday.

00:00Emergency services were called to this crash just after midday, after a truck and trailer
00:07collided with three cars on Main South Road at Wattle Flat, south of Adelaide.
00:12Two women, who were rear passengers in one of the cars, both died of their injuries.
00:17A 44-year-old woman died at the scene and the second woman died later in hospital.
00:21Seven other people were injured in the crash and were all taken to hospital for treatment,
00:26including two children, a 14-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl.
00:30We also know at least one other person, a 43-year-old man who was driving, has sustained
00:35critical injuries.
00:36The 35-year-old driver of the truck was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
00:41The Victor Harbour man has been arrested by police and he's been charged with two counts
00:46of causing death by dangerous driving, two counts of causing serious harm and four counts
00:51of causing harm by dangerous driving.
00:53SA Police say their investigations are continuing and have asked any witnesses to come forward.
