00:00We are at the midway point officially of this 2024 NFL regular season. Nine weeks in the books,
00:06nine more weeks to go, 18-week regular season. See how that happens? And at the end of the opening
00:12half, we look at where the odds stand currently as we are about to embark on the second half from
00:18where they were on opening night in the preseason. The Kansas City Chiefs enter the year as the
00:23favorites to win a third consecutive Super Bowl championship. No team in NFL history has ever
00:29done that. Won three consecutive Lombardis or even played in the game for a third consecutive
00:35year. Plus 550 as the Chiefs remain the only undefeated team in the NFL is now shorter by
00:41nearly two bucks at plus 380. The Detroit Lions though, Joe, might be the best team in the NFL.
00:48They are seven and one. They have covered in all seven victories. A 12 to one price for Detroit
00:52has been slashed in half and then take off another dollar at five to one. The Ravens
00:57number growing shorter. The Bills price shorter by half as well. The Niners have seen the number
01:04grow from six to one to 10 to one in an uneasy start to this season. San Francisco, just an even
01:10500 four and four countless injuries on the offensive side of the football. Philadelphia's
01:16price was probably longer the opening month of the year, but after a four game win streak for
01:21the birds now back down by a buck in the Green Bay Packers at 18 to one before the year got
01:27started at on $2.20 to one Green Bay did not look great at home and Jordan Love has dealt with a
01:33variety of short-term injuries this season and yet the pack still six and three. We'll look elsewhere
01:40around the odds, but that the biggest movement Joe we have seen for those Super Bowl contenders
01:45this season. Yeah, and it's always interesting Ben right at this point because we start to you
01:51look at the market and you start to go. Okay, where are people overreacting to what they just saw
01:58right recency bias is a pretty is a pretty real thing here, especially you're coming out of a
02:03week where favorites went what 13 and one straight up and 10 and four against the number the public
02:09had a field day. So, you know what happens man is the public all of a sudden starts thinking
02:14while we got this. So why don't we why don't we just sprinkle a little something here on Kansas
02:18City to win it all or Buffalo to win it all they won't look anywhere near down the border on that
02:24other column then that second column to think anybody could have the audacity to actually
02:31make a run at the at the Super Bowl, but the reality is every team on that list still has
02:37a shot right now been at winning a Super Bowl here and certainly ain't running to the window
02:43to lay single digits with anybody right now.
