"Churchill's People" is a historical anthology series based on "A History of the English-Speaking Peoples", Winston Churchill's four-volume history of Britain and its former colonies. Each episode had an introduction narrated by Michael Jayston.

The battle is significant for being the last occurrence of any major resistance during the English Peasants' Revolt.
