00:00The number of Filipinos preparing for the pandemic has increased by 42% in the last 7 years,
00:07with an average score of 19.2 over 50.
00:12This is based on the extensive survey conducted by the Harvard Humanitarian Initiative, or HHI, this year.
00:20This score shows the importance of planning,
00:25getting used to, and adherence to the tools, information, and social support since 2017.
00:33But this is still not enough for the Philippines, which is considered one of the most dangerous countries in the world.
00:41In order for the policies and programs to be implemented properly,
00:44the HHI has emphasized the importance of understanding the needs of Filipinos
00:50through social-behavioral research, especially in the face of a country with severe climate-related calamities.
